Knowing that if it happens it will go away eventually even if it's uncomfortable in the moment. That's how I work through my panic attacks. Give yourself what you need in the moment... whatever that is. I, too, carry cold water with me in case as well, and I dress in layers because the child helps me feel better. You're strong and you've got this!!

@GummyDrop That can be hard, but is true. My anxiety rises in the unknown, so I've been working on being ok in the moments when I experience panic. Going through that (when it's safe to) has been helpful to me and lets me let go somewhat of the unknown.

Also practice mindfulness and breathing to bring you into the moment. A lot of times panic happens because we're not in the moment. There are a lot of exercises that can help with that, like using your senses to focus on 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can feel, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. That one's helps me a lot.

Currently having a mental breakdown as I have to get on a plane by myself for the first time. It just feels like since I’ll be alone everything will go wrong and I don’t want that. All of the flights I’ve been on have been mostly smooth. It’s a short flight but I just can’t get the imagine of me dying alone out of my head. I’ll go a couple hours being fine about it to freaking out. Also, a side from safety I just hate being up in the air with no where to go. I genuinely can’t comprehend it and now I have to do it by myself.
