I do. I get the urge to clean my room or dirty it (for example taking clothes out of the dirty laundry and littering my floor with it)

It's always horrible at night for me. I think were not occupied at night so our minds wander.

Nighttime puts you in your head, as it does for many people. Me included. Doing activities to relax and distract like resding a book or watching youtube can help a lot

I feel like it’s just me. But at night when I start to fall asleep, play on my phone, or watch TV; I’ll get major intrusive thoughts and a butt load of anxiety. Has anyone felt the same about this? How have you managed it? It’s getting exhausting and even causes me to sleep-less.

I feel like my life isn't my own anymore. I live by OCD's rules. I can't ever switch it off. I spend most of my day mentally reviewing and constantly checking myself. I have to do things in a certain way or i dont feel safe. All this time that i've lost and for what? Idk how I let thoughts have so much power over my life and yet here I am. Every day. I can't even get away from it in sleep because i have dreams about it and I wake up anxious if i manage to get any sleep at all. I'm so over it all.

Hi, I’m new here. For a long time I’ve had these rituals I do before I go to bed. I have to make sure my socks in the laundry are lined up, make sure the HDMI cord is plugged into my tv (it always is), and check if my closet light is turned off (it almost always is and I can see under the door, but I have to open the door). I believe that if I don’t do these things, something bad will happen. And it’s worse at night than during the day. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Where they have a certain ritual before bed? How do I stop this?
