Please dont force yourself into a gay club. Its only going to make your anxiety spike through the roof and make you feel horrible. ERP is not immediate, its stepped, and its meant to ease you into being less afraid of your theme. Please keep at it. Its going to take longer than a week or a month. If you go to a gay club youre likely just going to panic and have to do a shitton of compulsions to calm yourself down. Going to a gay club would likely be something youd do near the end of your hocd. Please take care of yourself in the meantime and do something kind for you that you enjoy.

My experience is that our brian will over judge the danger of a doubt or a thought, or the tragetic thought took place because of over judging the danger of the condition. Try not to react to worrying thoughts(the condition is not so danger), and maybe can accept that you got that thought(not to accept the meaning of the thought) and continue your daily living.

There are some practices that have grad students who are training and provide therapy for way less. How much have you looked around? There’s also tele-therapy options as well
