Does anyone have any experience with getting an emotional support animal?

Did you have any trouble with getting one or with landlords accepting it?

@just_a_rando nope ESA are not pets so no additional rent or deposit

@just_a_rando if your landlord makes you pay rent for a certified ESA he could be breaking the law , also you just need a doctor’s note , & certificate for the animal

@;-; That’s what I’ve read but I’m so scared they won’t accept it. I don’t think I’d be able to advocate for myself. But I guess who would want a landlord that would break the law, right?

@just_a_rando I used to work in leasing , and all apartment communities should accept it . Is this a private landlord or apartment community ?

@just_a_rando All apartment communities should accept ESA’s with no additional charge , its law :-)
