Anyone else's OCD find memories to use as "evidence" your obsessions/intrusive thoughts are true?

Real event ocd and false memory ocd definitely encompass this. I think it's often a result of doing mental review as a compulsion. I.E. as you scan your memories for "evidence," your OCD flags some memories as "needing review." Whether or not they literally fit the bill is irrelevant, an ambiguous or convoluted fit works just fine for OCD.
