Thank you for this post! Seeing this first thing in morning before I go to school! Wish I could say it’s easy though. Easier to say then to do!

Your life in general :) You decide what makes you happy, and if we can let go of the "maybe people think that..." "what would people think if... " etc. we'd all be a lot happier! 💚

@washie This is very true. I never asked for this hocd to happen if it is that. This came out of nowhere at the age of 22

@washie I know! I think we all feel that way. It doesn't define who you are as a person! Whether you get ocd or you get allergies, it's out of your control. What we can to is recognizing that they're only thoughts that don't mean anything, and to not let them control our lives. :)

Every day living is a win against OCD! Don’t let up, it’s gonna hurt like hell, but we’ll come out of this stronger than ever! Practice your uncertainty, welcome those nasty thoughts, no matter how horrible or taboo, look at them straight up and laugh! This is not our reality, we choose our own paths! Life was never meant to be serious! There’s no such thing as a serious sunrise, serious tree, or serious bird! Laugh and love, learn to forgive yourself, it’s beautiful once you come out on the other side for once!

Yesterday I had a good day after I decided to not let any thought or feeling ruin my day. My intrusive thoughts and hyper awareness of consiousness/thinking was still there. But my day was more than okay. I even felt normal some moments of the day 🤓 Let’s do the same today. Lets live with the ocd instead of trying to escape it at all times.
