Yes I actually felt much worse on lexapro. It made me have intrusive thoughts I’ve never had before and gave me such bad anxiety so I stopped it altogether. I feel like I’m just not compatible with meds

@Have a sunflower🌻 I realize I'm replying to this three days late, but I used to take Zoloft too. In my first few months of taking it I had some side effects, jitteriness being one of them. My mind was super active for awhile and my nerves were super active too, so it caused me to twitch a lot, like my hands would be tingling a lot of the time. My mind also still had a lot of anxiety at the beginning, but once I was pretty well established in taking the Zoloft my anxiety died down a lot. I've never taken Prozac though, so I don't know much about any of it's side effects it can have on the mind. I think my mom used to take Prozac though at some point in her life, she takes Zoloft now though, but if you want I could ask her about what kinds of side effects she remembers having from it? But yeah, because of the fact that you're in the process of switching medications right now I'm not really sure either if what you're experiencing is because of going off the Zoloft or if it's because of the introduction to Prozac... you know it might actually be because you have both medications mixed together at the same time right now? Maybe the fact that they're mixed together is creating other side effects that wouldn't normally be there, like maybe they're working against each other in some way. I don't know if I've been very helpful, lol, but I hope I have helped at least some. How are you today Have a sunflower? :)

@Drew777 Thank you for the information. You are probably right about it being from having both in my system. I’m hanging in there! I hope you and your family are having a good day!

@Have a sunflower🌻 Yeah, you're welcome. I'm just glad to help in anyway that I can. Yeah, we're having a good day, I have some family visiting from out of town this weekend. :) I'm glad you're hanging in there and just doing the best you can. You have any good plans this weekend? :)

@Drew777 That’s great! It’s so nice to visit family. I’m glad you are all enjoying yourselves! I’m pumpkin carving this weekend with my family? Do you have any big plans with your family?

@Have a sunflower🌻 That's cool! I can't remember the last time I did pumpkin carving, definitely years and years ago though. I hope you had fun with your family doing that! :) And we didn't do much, just sat around talking and watching football (even though I don't like football), and later we all had a nice dinner together, so all in all we had a good time. :)

Hey! I just started Prozac and I’m on day 4 or 5 and I’m feeling super anxious and having mini panic attacks, is this normal? I know my psychiatrist said anxiety will raise for the first two weeks but I just wanna know if this happened to anyone else. I’m also super tired Thanks 😊

Hi everyone, I’m 23 and have been on Zoloft since I was 16. For the past couple months I’ve been having panic attacks more and I’m sick of feeling like a zombie everyday. My boyfriend said I’m very sad and unhappy then when I first met him 2 years ago…. He thinks it’s the medicine. Throughout the years I have upped and lowered my medication, but now, I feel as though it’s not helping. Either it was too much where I didn’t feel emotions at all like very scary stuff or it wasn’t enough to help me. I was given 5mg of Lexapro to try…. I’m scared to take it. All I know is how Zoloft is. I don’t want to go crazy on it, be allergic to it, etc. I feel like I’m going to trip myself out when I take it and not actually feel the difference. I could really use some positive feedback I really just want to be a normal human😭

For starters I was on this medicine before i remember the first few weeks were very scary and debilitating. I don’t remember why I stopped taking it , it was about 7 months ago. but I just recently started back because my ocd and anxiety has been off the chain. I keep having bad thoughts about the side affects and I’m terrified like “ what if I have a seizure” can anybody share an experience? Anyone on Zoloft here. Thanks !
