This isn't funny or anything like that. However your picture did bring a smile to my anxiety ridden face. Can you tell me where I can find the 'SOS" option function button

Go to the tools tab at the bottom right of your screen and it should show the SOS button. Hope this helps and I hope you start feeling better.

Sorry I never replied to you last night friend! I ended up getting kind of distracted last night honestly and forgot to get back on the app. I'm glad the picture I posted brought a smile to your face, but I hope you are feeling better than you were last night though. I've never used the "SOS" option function button before, but I hope that Skylerc's comment about it helped you find it last night. How are you feeling today friend? You wanna talk about anything on your mind? I'll be here to just chat with you if you'd like. :)

Never found the "SOS"option function button. Might try to again today. I'll be on the road. Won't be driving. That would be downright dangerous. Don't even have a tool bar/tab, that I can see anyway. Still feeling anxious/also think I slept wrong. My neck and lower back hurt something awful. I appreciate the offer of you being here online to just chat. I would like that very much. Especially since the road trip will be a long one. Hoping to chat later. π

Yeah, I'm not sure about where the "SOS" option function button is on a laptop, I've never been on the NOCD website on my laptop before, but I'm glad you were able to find it on the app on your phone at least. What are you feeling anxious about? Would you like to talk about it? Feel free to say whatever is on your mind, I'll be supportive of whatever you say. I won't be judgmental in any way. :) I'm sorry you slept wrong though and that your back and neck are hurting right now. Maybe you can try to lay down on a heating pad at some point today (if you have one), that might help with the pain you're having. :) I hope your roadtrip goes well today! Maybe you can listen to some music you like while you're on the road, that might help with your anxiety. :) God bless friend! π

Are you a Christian? Sounds like it.Even if you are not I still want to be your friend. My anxiety stems from a lot of things. Don't really know how to narrow it down. Finally got my therapist to answer me. Now I'm waiting for her to answer my questions. I asked her if she is a Christian, and asked about the ERP and if she would be there with me. Also asked about price because I don't know that I can afford to do it, but I don't know if I cannot afford not to either. This morning I went to Costco and Target with my husband after waking up with anxiety and the back and neck ache

I've been having the feeling in my stomach/abdomen for awhile now. Just hoping it's anxiety is all and nothing else. I've been to the ER several times this last summer and that's all they said it was. And if OCD triggers anxiety that won't be helped by medicine, I don't know what I'll do. I'm scared.

@God is in Control Yeah, I'm a Christian. :) I had a feeling that you were a Christian too. Nice to meet you, I'm glad to be your friend God is in Control. :) Yeah, my anxiety stems from a lot of things too, it really is difficult to pinpoint all of it sometimes, I feel like I'll just get anxious about anything and everything. Some days are better than others, but today and more recently I've been doing pretty decent. I'm sorry you've been having so much stress though and that it's causing you to have a lot of internal and external pain. π I'm sure medication will definitely be a big help for you, it really does make a big difference. I took Zoloft for 8 or 9 years, I only just recently stopped taking it this year (which I kind of regret now), but for me Zoloft was a huge help, once your body adjusts to the medication your taking you will see a difference, but you may have to try a few different medications before you find one that works best for you. I hope your therapist will answer all of your questions soon and that she can work out a good plan that works well with you and your husband's current finances. I haven't started getting therapy yet due to fear of the financial part of it too, but I really want to get therapy, so I hope it'll all work out in the best way it can. I'm sorry you're scared right now friend... but there is hope, God will see you through this in His perfect timing. I'm sorry for replying kind of late, I've been a little busy today, I have some family over from out of town right now. What do you have planned for the rest of the day friend? :)

Thank you. Right now my in-laws are here. Tomorrow we leave for our vacation to Washington. Not sure how it's gonna be,but going to try to enjoy as much as I can. I know coming home will be a trigger for me. Being here just brings my anxiety out more. And I'm sure the OCD was cheering it on. I don't know if you read my post where I said I had very light ocd until 3 years ago. In 2017 I had gastric bypass surgery. In 2018, I had a 2nd fusion on my neck(already had 1 and 2 fused)this time they fused 4 and 5. Anyway I also had my first knee replacement. It was after the knee replacement, during PT that my anxiety really threw me for a loop and this all started. Even cut my wrists on one occasion

@Drew777 I will keep you in my prayers as well. Thank you for becoming my friend. I'm sure I will need your friendship during this and after this, as long as that is okay with you. I'm going to go shower, sometimes it makes me feel better. Gonna use the "SOS" button before though. Hoping to chat with you later.

It certainly sounds like you've been through a lot! You've been through a lot more than I have anyway. I didn't read your post from earlier that you're talking about, but I'll look for it on here. I did read your profile though, and I can relate to a lot of how you feel. Thank you for becoming my friend as well, and of course we can be friends even after you get through your OCD, I would never stop being your friend just because you get better, what kind of a friend would I be if I did that? Life is unpredictable, you may get a lot better from OCD at some point, but throughout life we are going to face new challenges every day, and as a friend to you or anyone else, I want to be here for my friends through all of those different challenges no matter what they may face, OCD related or not. And yes, showers are peaceful, I like to just hear the sound of the water, it's calming, so I hope it will help you feel better. What exactly does the "SOS" button do anyway though? Do they put you on a call with a therapist or something? I haven't had to use that feature yet. Also, if you ever feel like you're going to harm yourself in anyway, please just try your best not to and use that SOS feature if you have to! I would be so sad if you hurt yourself... I know I don't really know you hardly at all yet though... but that would just break my heart if you hurt yourself. πͺ Just remember in those moments that you have people here who care about you, you have your husband, your family, the people in this community, your therapist, and most importantly you have God who loves you SO much and He is with you every step of the way through this. Don't give up my friend! There is always hope with God, there is always a way through every struggle we face. I hope that encourages you. I hope and pray that you and your husband will enjoy your vacation to Washington together! And I pray that you will both have safe travels tomorrow. :) I hope you have a wonderful night! God bless friend! :)

Thank you again. You seem to know what to say. The SOS feature is just Steven McGrath? I think that's his name, and he just talks you through whatever it is you're bothered by for like 10 minutes. It helps, but it wasn't what I was expecting. You have a good night as well my friend.π
