Hi there! Thank you so much for having a bravery and vulnerability to share on here. I’m so sorry that your experience such distress. I’ve been there, and it definitely sucks. Are you going through ERP right now? My suggestion is, even though it sucks, sit with the distress for a couple of minutes until your body calms itself down naturally. Also you can do exposure statements such as “I may or may not be with my boyfriend in a year.” I would suggest doing these with your therapist at first since they will probably be quite distressing. Then you can work on doing them there yourself in the future. Keep it up, you’re strong!
