Hi Anonymous, I would definitely reach out to NOCD to confirm, but over here in the US, the therapists have to be licensed in whatever state you live in, which should result in the same time zone (or within an hour) for more immediate communications. If you have an appt while on travel you can have a different therapist have that appoint with you that is licensed in that region and most likely in that time zone as well until you get back home. Please reach out directly to NOCD though to confirm as they will answer all of your questions before even starting therapy. Best wishes in your recovery and take care!

Is there a therapist or a specialist on here that I can briefly chat with? Or maybe an OCD conqueror who’s very familiar with the disorder? I need an experienced person to talk to me so bad. I just really wanna talk to somebody about what I’m going through so that I feel less alone, and so I can maybe get help managing my symptoms. Thank you in advance ♥️

I’m considering trying therapy through nocd. This is too heavy for me to try and hold in anymore. I had a really bad night last night. I don’t want to use my mom’s insurance so I’d be self pay. Has anyone tried and is it worth it in your opinion? I’m afraid this is starting to affect my relationship and even my job+ feels more debilitating than ever. I think it might be time I’m also so shy. I wish I could do text therapy rather than phone visit 😫 any advice? I’m sure it’s not as bad as I imagine it’ll be. If anything I’ll bet it’s nice and I won’t feel the need to hold back. I’m also not diagnosed yet, has anyone gotten a diagnosis from doing therapy this way?
