I feel your pain! I don’t know how to help other than telling you you have to accept that you might be or that you will never know for sure. I know it’s so much easier said than done but there really is no other way. I am also struggling very much again after some time without these excruciating fears. It will get better eventually.

Thank you johm It’s hard isn’t it?:/ sometimes I’m fine and then it’ll hit me all at once and everything feels like a lie. I’m feeling a little better now, thank you for replying :)

I agree with Johm. The only way is to accept you may be, may be not. After a while your brain will reduce ruminating because will understand there nothing to be solved anymore. Believe me, once you'll get your life back, your feelings will also have another aspect

It’s just been so long I’ve had to endure this theme:/ Sometimes I don’t ruminate at all and I feel fine and then it hits me all at once. Im feeling a little less anxious now though. What do you mean by feelings will have another aspect? Thank you for replying :)

@milliemoo Hi, I have hocd since 15 years And it's never too late I think to make a proper change. When I said feelings will have a new aspect I mean that, once you'll be relaxed, and fear and anxiety are won, your real feelings will come out. Keep connecting with good People
