Remember, when you’re doing well, that’s when I think of it as OCD getting nervous it won’t have a hold anymore so it strikes harder. Celebrate the fun you had and the strength it took to go out and have that fun. Let your OCD get nervous, and know you can be stronger! It might now be easy, but I know you can do it! 💪🏼💜
It did give me courage to go out once in a while for my own mental health! So I’m happy about that! How is everything with you btw?
@Bunny1220 I’m doing a bit better at trying to embrace the uncertainty around my supervisor. It’s still far too easy to feel overwhelmed, but I’m really working at keeping a balance of doing things for myself, my family, and my home in comparison to what I do for my job. Nothing is perfect, but since that’s one of my OC issues, I keep remembering that when my students had “perfect” as a vocabulary word, they added to the definition that perfection is false and unattainable. Wisdom from youths. 🥰
