So sorry you’re going through that!! Was just telling a friend I bought them something cause my brain told me if I didn’t they’d hate me forever 😅 so kinda the same but different ocd theme.

@professional anxious overthinker It sounds exhausting but I love your sense of humor to laugh at these things after a spiral. Hang in there 👍💪

Hi there, I am sorry to hear what you are going through. I am currently struggling wirh thoughts that are telling me that I am not actually cisgender and that I am actually trans. I am a female and have always been, but these thoughts are making me feel like I’d rather be a man and they are scaring me to death. If you have any tips as to how to work through these thoughts I would really appreciate it. This theme is killing me.

Hey! I really struggled with this theme this past summer and while I do sometimes get anxious again about this it's much less than before...what I started doing was agreeing with my ocd a little bit. I would tell it "yeah, maybe I am...but I'm not gonna change anything yet" and my anxiety would really increase for a while and my OCD would be all like "ahhh what do you mean? See I told you..." and I would just agree with it again without acting on any of the urges or feelings that it was telling me to do. It took about a month and it did take a while to feel better but eventually it got better.

It's ok to take breaks and if you get too panicked definetely use some relaxation tools or breathing exercises to pull yourself out of it. Sending lots of love your way!
