Anyone feels the same? Any tips?
I’m back to being scared again. I had harm ocd for quite a long time, but only recently (around a month ago learnt it was ocd), and honestly i have been slowly getting better from my harm OCD myself, but I still decided to start seeing a specialist on nocd last week. Rn I still have intrusive thoughts that cause anxiety, but they kind of pop up randomly, and usually die down in like 15 mins and pop up a few times in the day. This creates a problem for me when I do ERP cause when I don't have intrusive thoughts, exposure doesn't trigger much anxiety for me, so I'm just here figuring out how I'm supposed to do it, cause I can't "time" when I will feel anxious to battle it… And when I have intrusive thoughts, it makes me feel like i actually will harm someone any moment, and it makes me more anxious. Does anyone feel the same? And how am I supposed to do ERP this way?
