I want to break up!!! I can’t take this anymore!!!! I know I love him but it’s like I don’t!! I cry and no matter how hard I try it a constant feeling!!! I don’t want this but it’s like a subtle feeling!! I can’t deal with this!!!!! 😭😭 all year it’s went from ROCD to this!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I signed up for therapy on here… Today is not good….. it’s really not…. Right now I truly believe I am using ROCD as an excuse to avoid my true feelings…
@7710 ❤️ You will have harder days than others. Some days you will feel and have confidence in truth and love for your boyfriend/spouse. And then some days, you’ll have feelings and questions that completely attack those days of confidence. In the midst of those bad days, you have to carry the tools and have faith in the them. Faith is the substance of things UNSEEN, or better in our struggling, UNFELT. pursue getting counseling on a date for as soon as your available. And stick with it. Don’t compromise it. Treat it like a work schedule where nothing can get in the way of it. There is healing there. In Jesus there is 100% and when you invite Him into something like your therapy, there’s a lot in store.

Rest and watch a joyful movie. Have compassion on yourself. Have some hot chocolate and cozy up and lay down any expectations your putting on yourself to feel a certain way right now. We can’t fix you, but we can encourage you in the right way so that you can CHOOSE and make a decision in the midst of the chaos. You got this.
I’ve also heard about other people with Rocd feeling the urge to break up to avoid the painful Ocd feelings but avoidance is actually a compulsion and you would be letting Ocd take control of your life
@Anonymous I’m scared bc it actually doesn’t feel like ROCD at all… It’s like I really don’t like him anymore 😭 Were those clarity moments a lie… sometimes I don’t have anxiety 😰 I got too used to feeling this way…. 😰😭
@7710 ❤️ This sounds like rumination and reassurance seeking which are compulsions so Ocd could definitely be playing a part here. I recommend seeing a therapist who can help you with Erp to get through this. Btw with Ocd, it feeds you lies and makes you feel like a person you aren’t so you often can’t trust your gut when you have Ocd

I broke down crying… I think I really wanna break up!! 😭😭 I don’t know if this is due to ROCD or not!! I am feeling overwhelmed so badly!! 😭😭😭 I held him closely and started crying!! He asked me why has it seemed it got worse and I didn’t tell him… 😭 Can ROCD really make you believe you want to break up this much!?!!! Or is this just denial!? Why would I cry if I wanted to break up!?!? 😭😭
@7710 ❤️ The ruminating makes Ocd much much worse and it seems you may have done that most of today based on the timing of these comments so it’s best to try to focus on something else to as a good distraction, even though it’s very hard I know. Your new therapist will guide you through it and I suggest not breaking up at this time because that’s what your Ocd wants you to do
i saw a tik tok with a guy reading notes about how others relationships ended, or new it ended something like that. One of them was “ when i wasnt excited to see her anymore and it felt like a chore, i wasnt happy anymore and i felt like that for over a year but i couldn’t tell her” i feel horible bc i think i have rocd and for over a year i obbses with me not loving him anymore. i feel awful. what if im in the same position as that guy. what if i dont love him. he is at my house rn and i feel si bad, i feel like i have no feelings. i feel horible i font understand what is happening. i dont want this to happen . This video made me want to cry. what if i cant accept the fact that i dont like him anymore. when he kisses me i think that i dont want him. i feel like a liar.
I feel like I shouldn’t be with my partner anymore, but I have no clear reason why. I feel sad every single day, I have a constant heaviness in my chest, I cry often, and I start arguments with him. I can’t remember the good memories. Everything feels distant, fake, or tainted. I don’t know why I love him — and all my thoughts tell me that I never truly did, that I only wanted to feel something, and now I finally see the truth. The worst part is that it all feels so real. I feel lost. I feel numb. I feel guilty. I can’t feel love right now, but some part of me still wants to hold on, still wants help. I don’t want to make any decisions right now. I just want to know I’m not alone. Has anyone else gone through this?
My brain keeps comparing how I felt then with the same thoughts to now and how it is diff now to prove it had changed. I’m feeling like I know it isn’t right and that maybe I’d pair better and I want to be with someone who is good for me but I also don’t want to break up and can’t tell if that’s the ocd using his faults against me. I feel like if I were to tell someone I have no feelings at all for him anymore I’d know I’d be lying and doesn’t feel right but when I say the opposite it doesn’t feel right either. I’m also worried that this time it is real and it’s the guilt of not telling him that’s making the ocd worse not that it’s just ROCD. My thoughts are also saying so many diff things I’m confused. It feels like I can’t connect to him anymore or like I don’t have empathy which scares me cause I know I did before and I felt it but is it just that I’m frustrated w some of the issues? But it’s upsetting it feels like I don’t have the endearing feelings and love I felt and I want it to come back but then I also think I don’t cause then it will prevent be from seeing what else is out there And the thing is looking back on how it was I feel like I could def see how that was ocd but this is different… and like I at least felt I knew I loved him or wanted to be with him and i had thoughts of wanting to be with someone who this or someone who this but I didn’t actually want it and now it feels like this time I rly do mean it like I want to find better qualities but I still don’t wanna move on from him and my brain is like wel that’s how everyone feels when they breakup regardless…it rly doesn’t feel like ocd anymore 😭 and my thoughts keep saying if you don’t you don’t like this or that and it most likely won’t change cause you have been with him so long why are you with him and then I feel guilty like I need to tell him
