I worry about cheating ocd specifically emotionally cheating. I can’t have male friends anymore cuz I convince myself I’m in love with them etc. or what if I cheat and don’t know? Etc.. I also have a fear I had sex with someone and don’t remember and I worry a lot.
Oh I used to suffer the same months ago, I don't know if you experience false memory bcs the last thing you wrote sounds like it, the best is just dealing with the uncertainty, shrug all the "what ifs" your mind puts to challenge you, remember OCD gains power based in doubting and fear. Same with the fear of cheating in the future, I forget if when I deal with uncertainty and by the other hand I know that I wouldn't do such thing, that I fear it, and trust in myself, trust that I won't do that. Build trust in yourself, even if in the beginning you feel like a pretender or like it won't work.
That's why we have to connect with our values. If you did such thing and it is against your values, guilt wouldn't let you forget those actions. I apply the same to myself, there's no way I can just doubt if I truly did such horrible thing. So, after no giving in compulsions I get to know they were just false memories, all lies and imagined events. But to arrive this point we don't have to be reminding ourselves how we know everything was and will be alright bcs then we enter the vicious cycle of compulsions and seeking reassurance, so, let's learn to live with uncertainty too
And what if you like your male friends? You can't control your thoughts or feelings, what really matters is what you do with them. This is probably the best lesson OCD has ever taught me. Avoiding friendships with boys will only make you isolated and feel even worse. I understand you, I have been through a similar situation and I know how it feels
I feel the same way. Or like any interaction with male coworkers is cheating. It’s exhausting. I feel you

Cheating OCD Anybody deal with cheating OCD where they all of a sudden got a panic attack that they may have cheated on their partner when you KNOW they didn’t ??? Like now I’m playing scenarios in my head that feel real???
Does anyone ever wonder if they ever emotionally cheated ? Sometimes I feel like I have In the beginning of the relationship but I’m not too sure or maybe I just in denial and don’t want to admit it . I’ve told my partner about this awhile back . He didn’t know emotionally cheating was a thing and he doesn’t believe in it and told me to let it go so I guess I should let it go . I would say why I question if I emotionally cheated but that’s extra stuff to type . whenever I’m around other males I get feeling like I want them and they feel so real . I honestly don’t truly know what emotionally cheating is but I have a guess and I’m scared to look it up . I guess I’ll say why I feel the way I do . So there was this twitch streamer I had a on and off crush on . I started watching him when I was 18 and his was like 25 . And lived in a different state . It was a unrealistic crush now that a look back at it bc I wouldn’t never happened but I still had a crush on him. When me and my boyfriend first started dating . We were playing a game online and I decided to stream bc I sometimes like to stream and I was looking for that person I used to have a crush on to join the stream and say hi . I sometimes wonder did I still have a crush on him . Was I emotionally cheating . Again, I’ve told my boyfriend all about this . He felt some type of way bc he didn’t know but he didn’t think it was a big deal . But my boyfriend does have cheating ocd . But it’s the type of cheating ocd where he thinks I’m cheating. But it’s like physical type of cheat .Ike when he’s away at work that’s when his thoughts get bad . Bc he thinks I’m sleeping with someone . I never had sex with anyone ever besides him . When he talks to me about his cheating ocd it triggers mine lol. I guess I should let all this go idk.
every time my OCD finds something new to obsess about I feel like it’s the worst one yet. I used to think feeling like i don’t love my partner is the worst but turns out feeling like i cheated on him is so much worse. especially because it’s not cheating OCD but real event OCD. I somewhat entertained things with a friend a couple years ago (assumed he was probably into me and didn’t stop it/ liked the attention??) and even drunkenly fell asleep on his leg once. and i have talked about it with my bf but not the detail about sleeping on his leg (i’ve told him other arguably worse things (no kissing or anything like that)) and we’ve gotten past it. this was someone who i definitely never had feelings for and never wanted anything more out of than attention. but now i feel overcome by guilt and anxiety and i replay the scenarios over and over in my head. i feel the constant need to confess every last detail i remember but i read that confessing can be a compulsion? ugh anyone else dealing with real event OCD have any advice? I can’t see my amazing NOCD therapist anymore due to insurance issues :/
