Waking up with Anxiety what do I do ?
I am the same. I start to evaluate my day and go j in not defensive. Two things I’m trying are ERP first thing and catching myself when I’m not in the present moment. Unlike all other animals we can imagine the future which means imaging bad outcomes, so when I can stay in the present I can not ruminate on my intrusive thoughts.
I used to get bad panic attacks in the morning. I agree with the above. I am learning mindfulness which helps but its still really hard.
