me too, and then i feel an overwhelming urge to breakup even though i was feeling mild jealousy earlier in the day. So its like okay brain which is it?? and then ill cry while thinking about how wonderful he is
@Mordddecai same, with crying while thinking about how wonderful my bf is too me , It feels worse when in a healthy relationship. I never been in one and sometimes I question if I’m even in love because I don’t experience jealousy
@Anonymous yeah i feel that, and also if i tell him the thoughts that are tormenting me that he will feel like i dont want to be with him, so i feel like if i tell him he will leave me and that makes me freak out and cry. Its an awful feeling
@Mordddecai I get you, have you met with a therapist yet ? I’ve learned that the reason why we obsessive over these thoughts and it torments us, is because it is what we value the most. So, I tell myself that to help me get through those thoughts.

@Mordddecai It sucks, I used to get scared to say I love you, or when I hear an I love you from my girlfriend I would get so scared to text it backs because if I said I love you too while my mind said I didn’t, it would kill me to say it.

It flips between you don’t want to leave cuz ur just too scared to be alone and “you’re in denial that you’re gay” and “the fact that you had those thoughts/doubts to begin with is proof that you’re a manipulative, bad person who is going to hurt this incredible man/you’re not good enough for this incredible man”. So me and my boyfriend have been dating for a few months but seriously talking for around 8. I have never met anyone so perfect and amazing. I love him so much. Into our talking stage i kissed my ex situation-ship and ever since have been dealing with the consequences. He forgave me and gave me another chance and i have shown him how much i care every day since. He is over it now since it was only in our talking stage. I have had thoughts with my ex name, thoughts i hate my boyfriend, always constantly thinking if im bored, if i love him. It switches day by day and impacts my life constantly. I don’t feel like myself at all. Some days i can’t do it. I just want to be happy and secure with him. my thought from the past few days is that i want to be single and hook up with other people. I don’t actually want to hook up with others but i feel so terrible and guilty. Does anyone else deal with this? Sometimes i can’t tell the difference between my real thoughts and the fake ones. I have been debating breaking up with my boyfriend because i feel like it’s best but i would be so sad. He is perfect and i see myself marrying him.
Lately, I’ve been feeling like my relationship isn’t real. I keep thinking: • Why am I even with him? • Do I actually like him, or am I just used to him? • What if I’m just convincing myself that I like him? I feel numb, disconnected, and nothing I tell myself reassures me. Sometimes, I get really irritable when we talk, I don’t feel joy, and I start overanalyzing everything. It makes me feel like the absolute truth is that I don’t like him, and I’m just in denial. I also heard that when you don’t like someone, there’s no anxiety—just relief. But I have moments where the thought “I don’t want to be with him” crosses my mind, and I don’t feel anything at all. And because I don’t panic immediately, I start thinking “Maybe this means it’s true.” I’ve read that love isn’t about feeling excitement 24/7, but my mind keeps telling me that if I don’t feel connected, if I have to search for reasons why I like him, that must mean I don’t. I feel like I’m losing touch with my emotions, and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to feel love or happiness the way I used to. It’s like I keep waiting for some proof that I truly want to be with him, but I never find it. Has anyone else felt this way? I feel like I’m trapped in this endless doubt, and I don’t know what’s real anymore.
I’m so confused if the breakup was the right decision I felt so confident about it in the moment but now I feel the opposite I don’t understand how my emotions can switch up on me this much
