Biofeedback?
My psychiatrist has suggested trying biofeedback as a way to deal with the physical symptoms of anxiety. I deal with somatic OCD and it has been very hard to calm down. I wake up dizzy and tense and I am aware of the physical symptoms of stress off and on throughout the day. The more i focus on them the worde they get. I can't just sit with these feelings because I end up beating myself up verbally. They are so uncomfortable. Has anyone here has good experiences with biofeedback. I have tried so many relaxation techniques from meditation to hypnotherapy and they seem to make my anxiety flare up worse. Is it worth a try?
