I am a Christian but I have been worried that I do not believe in Jesus as the Christ so I try to ask Him to save me but I feel like my prayers are being directed to the devil and I don't know how to handle this. I worry God won't hear me if I feel that way.
I have been struggling with something similar, worrying “what if I did not believe correctly?” I have been doing ERP for this and just trying to rest in trusting Jesus and not needing to “do” anything or “feel” anything a certain way. It’s so hard though
God knows your heart, He knows about how OCD works, and He knows that you want Him to save you — so He will! I used to worry too about my prayers being directed to the devil, and I never connected that to OCD until your post. It’s crazy how many of my experiences over the years have been OCD related. Anyways, because of that I understand a bit of how you’re feeling. It’s really scary and it feels like you can’t make yourself see Jesus the right way. But just because you feel like your prayers aren’t going to the right place doesn’t make it true. God hears everything and He knows your intentions. The devil does not have the power or the authority to steal your prayers from God. I think maybe a few things that might help would be: remind yourself that your feelings or doubts don’t make something true or untrue. It is possible to be faithful to Jesus and to be saved and yet still feel really far from Him or to feel like your prayers aren’t being heard. So try to almost take a bird’s eye view on your feelings (sorry if that doesn’t make sense I don’t really know how to explain the way that I think about it) and just kinda say to yourself “that’s fine that my OCD wants to doubt this today. Jesus has me beyond my OCD. I can tolerate the discomfort.” And also, if there are any things such as worship songs or Christian books or Bible verses or anything like that that help you to feel close to God and help you to be confident in what you believe about Jesus, keep coming back to those things! That has been helping me a lot lately when I struggle with dark thoughts about God

I think the others said everything that could be said on this subject but just wanted to not that you are not alone in this and there's people who struggle with the exact same tough, I've hear about this before.
So I’m not sure how many/if any of you are Christians, but I’m assuming this can still make sense to some of you. This morning has been rough. I’m constantly thinking, “am I saved? Have I never been saved and I’m tricking myself into thinking I am? When I’m listening to Christian music am I doing for the right reasons? Is it too late for me?”. Things I know the truthful answers to but yet I still think these thoughts. I don’t understand why. Why do I constantly think about these “what if”’s? My heart always feels so heavy and I feel as if I need to talk to God right then and there to make it stop and go away. But then am I talking to the Lord for the wrong reasons? And the cycle repeats. Thankfully, day one of my therapy is tonight and I’m hoping to find at least a little clarity on this stuff. I’ve had OCD for 7 years and I don’t even know how it works. Any advice?
I’m Christian, and I suddenly had a loss of faith. I’m praying constantly and as anxious and scared that God hasn’t chosen me for this religion, even though I believe in it whole heartedly. My brain is telling me these things, and saying how I would be fit for Islam or something else, even though I am perfectly happy being a Christian. I keep getting intrusive thoughts and feelings about not believing in my religion, and whenever I confess how I do believe, my brain tells me I’m lying or I feel otherwise. It makes me feel guilty and abandoned and alone. I still read my Bible and pray CONSTANTLY. Please help (sorry if this is hard to understand I am ranting)
So I almost said something against the Holy Spirit the devil has been trying to get me to say something against it for like weeks now and has been trying to get me to see Jesus in like a scary way with like devil horns and all of that stuff like that and then last night he made the cross my mind where I wasn’t scared to go to hell but I truly am and I see how he’s playing on my emotions and the fact that where I tried to cry, but I couldn’t cry anymore and he keeps trying to convince me to say these things that I don’t wanna say and he he keeps trying to get me to say that I curse the Holy Spirit, but I don’t I really truly don’t and then I just started to feel weird last night like I didn’t feel anything I felt really empty and then I keep praying and trying to talk to God, but I can’t feel him or the Holy Spirit. I’m scared because I feel like I’m going to hellwhat do I do? Also like as if he was on the cross and that they Holy Spirit is evil. Every form of blasphemy I feel like I’ve committed how do I fix this because now I feel empty and scared to go to hell
