I saw a more viscous drop of water(??) on floor

I’m scared this mark on the floor next to my charger cable is bird poop from the time I accidentally left the window wide open and left my flat for an hour or two (I’m scared a bird could have flown in while I was gone or something). Im scared it’s spread from one of my chargers or something and has left a mark on the floor because it looks thicker/more viscous than just water. But also, I had just showered and was probably still a bit wet so could just be water but the issue is it looks a little thicker than just water to me. I think my charger cable touched it and my charger cable was in bed with me. The mark is dry now and hasn’t left a stain - what is it?? This is killing me!!

Goodness the things we have to deal with! 😤 I have contamination OCD too and I definitely relate to this sort of situation. Something happens that most people wouldn’t think twice about but for us it’s a mini emergency that has to be dealt with asap. And something that was just completely unnecessary right?! Stupid viscous drop could have just stayed wherever it was before! Didn’t need to come terrorize you! 😑

@Emma_OCjustdon’t I knoww!!! I’ve been sitting with the fear since last night. Went to bed without washing my hands and everything but still so nervous about it… I mean surely even if there was bird poop under my bed it would be dry by now because the time I left my window open was literally in december last year? And also it looked like one single drop, not like it had spread from anywhere… so exhausting!!

By the way the time I left my window open was approx 5/6 months ago but I’m still scared there could be residue somewhere where it hasn’t fully dried eg under my bed if the bed has moved position a bit etc (our bed frame is on wheels)

To be fair I think I’m over it now wooo. But, it’s just been replaced with other triggers lol it never ends. Do you think it’s bad that I may have put a wet umbrella near my chest of drawers which has items on it like keys, some jewellery etc? Like what if bird poop fell on the umbrella and I didn’t realise and then it was just wet and dripping near/on my stuff? Idk if that’s actually unhygienic or not?

This is funny to me only because yesterday I was scared that a bird pooped on me but I’m 100% sure it was just lotion that dripped onto me. I don’t remember a bird flying above me at all but I remember it came out of nowhere (lotion from my jeans that have holes and it getting onto my skin). Anyways I guess we’ll never know 😭
