Does anyone else with religious ocd or scrupulosity feel like God is angry with you and unforgivable I’ve been feeling like this and I’m really scared I’ve committed the unpardonable sin I had a thought about the Holy Spirit and I quickly became anxious and from that point i feel like God is upset with me and that I’m unforgivable any advice or help?
This statement has helped me recently.. .Hebrews 4:12 says “The word of God is…able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” God understands our thoughts better than we do. If I have anixety about a thought...then God knows how much I really don't want it
@Clemzenfan Sometimes with the ocd it’s like how you know if it’s a thought or your ocd uk and that’s what I’m going through
@MollyGrace MollyGrace....just speaking for me...I typically assign any thought that causes me anxiety or worry to OCD. It helps me to know that God knows my heart and intents even more than I do. I'm glad his judgment is not instantly based on my thoughts. It helps to know his grace is truly sufficient to cover my imperfect thoughts.
That was the most difficult theme for me to overcome and the one that I would say produced the strongest emotions.

I am a born again believer who struggles with the fact that I don’t really think I’m saved sometimes it’s horrible the uncertainty that is
