I was in a restaurant and all of a sudden I had this thought about the waiter. It made me feel like i liked her and it was just so annoying. I don’t know if this is just me at this point but i went into such a sad mood and felt like crying. Then i just because hyper aware of women around me and it was not fun. I hate this

@0876 I honestly feel after the 3 years of having this i’ve manifested myself to feel these things. It’s just so saddening.

It's so difficult and so annoying to have to notice members of the same sex, it's annoying, I don't know how one can get peace with it again, and I don't know if gay people feel that way, it bothers me for 7 years It started, there's not a single day that I've felt good

Please allow yourself to feel these feelings! We’re humans and we’re supposed to feel this attraction, doesn’t matter to who. It’s asked said than done but we deserve empathy 🙏🏽
@Anonymous In part I might grudgingly accept certain same-sex attractions, which shouldn't necessarily be sexual or romantic (as it was before all this started, where you recognized someone if they were attractive but up to that point, you went on with your life) but the loss of same sex attraction is what has my heart broken, i could work with that and ignore the other, but the brain doesn't want to cooperate, it's painful
@Anonymous This was slightly triggering of you to say. Almost suggesting i should accept myself as liking the same sex when that’s the last thing i would do as it makes me feel uncomfortable sad and not myself at all. When i experience these thoughts and feelings it’s horrible. It doesn’t feel good and comfortable it’s the complete opposite.
I respect both of your outlooks, as someone that considered themselves straight and started experiencing same sex thoughts & attraction pushing them away personally caused me more distress. I just feel like we deserve a little more empathy than feeling guilty. Again speaking from a personal pov so might be different to someone else

@Anonymous I personally want to feel women again, it's not something foreign to me, why would I be chasing something I haven't experienced before? All this has overshadowed it, with respect to men it is uncomfortable, everyone has their case, each case is different, I at least interact more with men on a day-to-day basis, and the truth is that it is still uncomfortable for me, and I don't think that "trying" something is the solution, for some yes, for others no, I just want to return and it is my fear of not returning that surely has me here, but I can't stop being worried
@Anonymous even, looking for peace of mind in one of the videos that talk about this (I know it does not help) I saw comments from several people identified as homosexuals who, when coming across these thoughts or specific trigger, at the same time noticed that feeling of loss of attraction for their gender preference and increased attention to the other gender, the same script, although the case of one could be seen as homophobia or whatever, what could we say about these cases? heterophobia? when it could be said that they are on the “more complicated” side socially, or one could perfectly assimilate one's own case with theirs, not wanting something that we value and enjoy to be lost. It's not a matter of being stubborn, I've been doing this for 7 years, living alone, far from my family, my social circle is almost 0 (due to other personality characteristics unrelated to this) and even so, I could act if I wanted to, I take my car and go out to look for boys and if that were the case that it is so scary nobody finds out, but it is not what I want
hey, so i’ve had these insane thoughts about like, this dude. and i assumed it’s intrusive feelings, but it also has happened w the fact o think i like girls? but i don’t? like, i get the gronal response, and everything, and like, it sometimes feels like i actually like them, but it always makes me sick? same way w the false attraction guy, and it even started happening w my bsf of like 9 years? and it’ll tell me the most insane things like “maybe u are attracted” “maybe if u got w them the thoughts will stop” someone please help.
any help is really welcomed and appreciated. I tend to hyper fixate on men outside of my relationship, they feel like crushes but I’m like 60% sure they’re meaningless dopamine rushes that happen with people I find interesting, friendship worthy, or physically appealing in some way. My hyperfixation recently shifted to a supervisor, not even an hour after meeting him :/ that’s fine, whatever, I can’t do much about it. I daydream and create like this drama romance in my head. Like good content for a movie or a book. Comparing it to that makes me feel less disloyal, and more understanding of why this might happen (I am a hopeless romantic, I adore stories). I’m home now and I was thinking of wearing a cuter shirt for work tomorrow because I went in an oversized hoodie today. This is a thought I had this morning before even meeting this man btw. But then my brain went to oh yeah I want to look attractive for this hyper fixation. It felt exciting to think that. I felt excited. Then the huge wave of dread hit me. I wanted to look good for another man? For a specific person? I can’t stop panicking I don’t know if this is normal, disloyal, a distortion, or what it is. I’m so confused. I felt happy when I got that thought. Maybe it was a dopamine hit or something I’m Colombian and we’re really big on looking our best 99.9% of the time. Even if it’s just to go to the gas station. I just feel so scared that I felt excitement over this one person. It’s extremely different for my boyfriend’s culture. Almost the opposite. I feel so disloyal and unworthy of my boyfriend. I doubt this was intrusive, it genuinely felt like me and I’ve had thoughts like that in the past. I just feel like a huge monster right now Please help :(
I don’t know if it’s SOOCD. I no longer feel anxious in the moment when I think about women, and it’s like my imagination wants me to think about it and get aroused. I don’t want to be gay, but maybe I am after all. In my life I haven’t been so sexually driven before (when I was living with a man, or when being single) but now all I can think about is having sex with a woman. I don’t want to, but somehow my body does and it feels like my mind have changed to accept it to.. feel so sad This all started around 4 weeks ago..
