I cursed and I asked God for forgiveness and then I did it several times I feel so bad i feel like I don't deserve to go to heaven I don't deserve their love I don't deserve them cause they are the best and I cursed souch and the day isn't even over that's not the only sin I did today and I feel horrible I love God and Jesus so so much but I feel like I just don't deserve God or Jesus

None of us deserve God's grace and salvation but He gives it to us freely through Jesus. God told Peter to forgive his brother 70 x 7. That's a lot of times to forgive. If God tells us to forgive then He will forgive too. But OCD lies and says He won't. I battle these thoughts with the feelings everyday.
Girl, *everyone* does stupid sins. I’m almost 40 and can make a pretty long list by now. I have also cursed a few times, it slipped out because I was in an environment where everyone constantly cursed. Some sins I’m embarrassed by or wish I could turn back time to prevent myself from doing it. But the truth is: I can’t do anything to save myself. It’s all God’s grace. It’s God who will decide if you’re worthy of heaven. Not you, and CERTAINLY not your OCD. And you have Jesus who is advocating for you, who has the most powerful argument there is: He already paid for your entrance, so you can be with Him for all time. No matter how you feel right now. Jesus is what matters. Not your sins. You feel bad about them, asked forgiveness. Now you’re forgiven. There’s nothing more you can do. Treat every thought that comes up that you don’t deserve God as an intrusive thought. (Because they are, it’s just another “what if…”) Say something like “maybe, maybe not. God will decide.” Or just shrug and go on with your day. You feeling like you don’t deserve to go to heaven is your OCD talking. You’re saved by Jesus, and there is nothing OCD can throw at you to make you lose His love and loyalty to you. OCD is a very big liar because it wants you to pay attention to it. Also: did you actually curse or was it a thought in your head? I’m asking because when I had religious OCD I had curses going on in my head 24/7. But, plot twist, these are not you actually cursing. They are intrusive thoughts, made up by the brain to force you to fix an issue it perceives it has. The more I’d think about what I was thinking the more they came up. Eventually God told me that He knew that I didn’t want these thoughts. And that was enough. I stopped worrying about them, which made them subside.
@hen7 thank you for your time I was with my non religious friends I don't have many religious friends which I think is absolutely not good I need to be around people who are GOOD Christians and I just cursed for a very little reason that was not even bad but I didn't think and the next second I felt so bad because I( said it out loud ) cursed several times this day and I always asked for forgiveness but I just kept cursing and it's just horrible cause I beg for forgiveness and then I do it again and again I know that God and Jesus Christ love me and forgive me but I just can't forgive myself cause Jesus died on that cross for us and I'm being dumb @hen7 God and Jesus loves you so much and I love you dear sister in Christ never stop believing ❤️🙏🏾 God bless
I struggle with this sometimes too and my religious OCD used to be very bad. Try to recognize that it was an intrusive thought and that it has no meaning whatsoever. It is not a reflection of you in anyway, it’s the exact opposite of what you would do. God knows you didn’t mean it, you have a problem with your brain where it creates these weird thoughts and He gets that.

Does anyone else feel like they think these horrible things on there own or on purpose. I feel like I'm intentionally trying to hurt god and the holy Spirit now and idk what to do. I feel like I'm becoming my worst fear. Idk what to do I feel like I'm losing touch with myself and idk what to do. And I'm really worried God is going to turn his face from me or I'm going to do something I am going to regret. I'm not really sure whats happening to me, but I'm scared I'm going crazy.
How should I cope. I keep getting bad thoughts about the holy Spirit and I feel so bad and guilty all the time. But I definitely do not want to act on them or even mention them. Ik God loves me, but my mind keeps painting a bad picture of him. I also when I try to be concerned about my bad thoughts, my mind will retaliate and say, how can u be scared of hurting someone u don't believe in. And it is really freaking me out... It's like I'm trying to degrade God or the holy Spirit for no reason. And I think I'm hurting there feelings and I feel hopeless and depressed all the time. And I'm just worried God is angry with me or he sees me as fit for punishment or something.
I don't even know if I should put this here, but I have the greatest girlfriend in the whole world, and I love her very much, but my thoughts keep saying I'm going to hurt her, so I can hurt God and idk what to do, I feel so disgusted and idk what to do, and the worst part is why does some part of me just not even care idk what to do anymore, it's almost like I'm turning into this horrible person and idk what to do, I'm really not sure what to do. I have really been able to be happy I just feel like I don't deserve it and I want to care about people and God and I want to be a good person, but a part of me shuts off my caring nature and idk what to do, I'm really freaking out because it's like IDC and idk what to do I just feel so nasty and scared because why don't I feel like I care. Why does it feel like it's something I wanna do idk, what to do I'm really freaking worried. Also I don't want OCD but a part of me says I need it or I like these thoughts and idk what to do, as im writing this i just feel like laughing and idk what to do, i really judt want jesus to hug me and say everything will be alright, i am such a monster....
