If you’re on sertraline, what is your current dosage and what was your experience tapering up? I’m in such a rut on 75mg just so depressed and bothered more by my thoughts. I honestly feel like I felt better on 25/50mg and those are so low. I’m so confused.
i’m on 100 mg and it’s worked for me i just feel super tired a lot

I’m on 50mg. This week it seems like each day is getting better and better! I tend to get intrusive thoughts at night when I’m the most tired BUT I will say my first week I didn’t feel anything, my second week was terrible and now on my third it’s getting good!
@lilmissocd That’s so good to hear! 50 was good for me. Was hoping 75 would be better but that doesn’t seem to be the case 😫
@Anonymously0CD I may titrate up! But I’m trying to see if 50 will be enough for me! I would say give your mind and body time to adjust to it and if it’s still not working as well as you hope talk to your doc about the dosage :)
@lilmissocd I was meant to have a follow up yesterday but extended it a few more weeks to give it more of a chance

I am on 50 mg. I have been on this dose now for about 2.5 weeks and it seems to be getting better each day. It was hard the first 2 weeks though. My doctor did mention that I could go up but I’m going to give this a couple more weeks
@Channy07 Yup I felt pretty decent on 50mg. I’ve been having such a hard time now that I’m on 75 though. They say it can get worse before better but it’s been a hair over a month. I feel like it should have started getting better by now
@Anonymously0CD I have heard it could take about 4 weeks to see the full effect. Maybe give it a couple more weeks and then go back down if it’s not getting better.
@Channy07 That’s definitely my plan. I was scheduled for another doctors appt tomorrow but rescheduled for a few weeks out. Not ready to write it off yet! But boy, the thoughts are kicking my butt!
