Does ROCD make you notice your partner’s physical flaws? I notice things I never even noticed before. This is killing me. I feel like if I love my husband I should see no physical flaws.

Everyone has flaws and it's normal to see them. The ocd will tell you this is important and make you doubt. It's up to you to live how you want to live which can be hard.
Yes! I remember having the hardest crush on my partner and thinking everything about them was perfect, but hyper-focusing over time on the little details I didn't like. ROCD has created this idealistic version of what my partner should look like and I have been comparing every single one of my relationships to it. The only think that made me feel better was focusing on my love for them instead of what I thought they 'lacked'.
Do you have any ideas/inspiration for exposures on partner-focused ROCD? I struggle with my partners physical flaws, it's very distressing for me even though I find it ridiculous that a simple thing like hair or face shape can cause me so much irritation. Furthermore I sometimes have problems with my partners behaviour, like making a lot of jokes or behing a bit hyperactive (this is mainly the case when I don't feel good/feel tired etc). I stopped confessing to people how I feel about his flaws. My main ritual is to constantly look at or think about the things that are bothering me and check my feeling. I ask myself If that means we are not compatible or if I don't find him attractive (enough), at the same time I have a lot of shame. I really want to work on this because I don't want this to destroy the wonderful thing I have. So I think I need to start doing the work. I'll also see him this Friday for the first time in over a month (due to ldr) and I'm a bit nervous how things will go. Any advice?
Why is it that when you're in a loving and healthy relationship with someone who has the qualities you've been waiting for , for so long, and treats you like gold, that you still have to be nitpicky about superficial things and still doubt if you are truly in love? This is me I'm describing. I fear the commitment of marriage, yet I have all I've waited for right in front of me. Wh y does my mind make me question such an amazing relationship and get me stuck on flaws in my partners appearance? I hate ROCD and its mind games!!
I'm just so tired of feeling sick to my stomach and having a lack of appetite. My ROCD is just ridiculous. It is partner focused ROCD and I find it to be stupid because no one is perfect and everyone has flaws. I know I have flaws and yet I'm obsessing over my bfs. I'm just tired!!!
