Sorry sorry sorry! I once again saw your message and forgot to answer, the start of a new semester kinda occupied the better part of my mind for the past few weeks, well this and OCD... I feel better and worse at the same time, I'm now able to play video games again. But compulsions are more invasive than ever, I lately had to check the freezer several times a day while recording it to make sure stray kittens wouldn't get stuck in it... But I am soon gonna start therapy, in a few weeks.

@realeventwitsend It's okay! Thanks for taking the time to get back with me! I'm honestly not doing very good right now. After just making a new friend a few weeks ago, I think I just lost them. They were my only friend, and the past several years I didn't have any friends. On top of that, I kind of already ruined their valentine's day. And this person listened to me a lot better than most. Then I got jealous of them and I went and hurt them. Luckily, we talked and we didn't end on quite as much of a sour note, but we still stopped talking and I still feel bad. So I'm grieving losing my friend. But I'm sorry to unload that on you. I'm both glad and sorry that you feel better and worse, but I understand exactly what that's like. I'm glad to hear that you are getting into therapy! I was pretty similar to you in terms of OCD when I first started therapy, and I've improved much since then, and I hope the same will be the case for you! About the semester, are you in school, college, or where are you in your education? And you don't have to answer that or any other questions you don't want to. I'm in college this semester. My main recommendation when it comes to balancing therapy and schooling is to prioritize your mental health. Always make sure to take care of your mind, do your therapy homework regularly, making sure to make time to do it. And I hope you keep me updated about how things go! Either if I bump into you again like this, or if you reply to one of my old comments, I always enjoy hearing from you, no matter what you have to say!

@Anonymous I'm sorry to hear that, I can't say I'm not having trouble as well in my social life, I also have trouble keeping friendships alive so I feel you, but don't worry, you'll get the hang of it with time, it's all a matter of experience in the end after all. I'm currently in college, the classes are easy for now so I can balance it with mental illness somewhat well. Also I should start therapy sooner than expected, which is a good thing because OCD has taken another toll on my hobbies, I can't really play anything without feeling some kind of enjoyement hurting stuff in-game, which is scary but I think this enjoyement comes more from a place of knowing it's possible rather than genuine sadistic feeling, as if my brain was teasing me, not sure that makes sense. Also yeah you can follow me I don't mind.

@realeventwitsend It's hard maintaining relationships with OCD. But, my friend forgave me. I hope we can keep talking, but we agreed to talk less for a while. I'm just afraid one day is gonna be the last that I talk to them -- and I have that same fear for all my relationships. It's good that classes aren't too complex for you right now. They're pretty easy for me rn, too I'm glad that therapy should be starting sooner! And I think I understand what you're trying to say. I just hate how hard it seems to try to explain how I'm feeling with my obsessive thoughts; it's like no words truly fit how I'm feeling, if all that makes sense. But I do think I get what you're saying! :) I'll follow you, but just so you know, for some reason I don't get a lot of my notifications for the NOCD app. Also, I try to give people space, so I might not message on every one of your posts to give you some space, just if you need it.
