@Monii My daughter loves listening to water sounds at night. I think itās called babbling brooks. My son on the other hand sounds like your daughter. He is nonstop all day from as soon as he gets up until I make him go to sleep. With my ocd I have struggled with keeping him in his bed because it makes me feel more comfortable with him next to me but we are slowly transitioning back into his bed. We really need to limit our screen time more as well. But I have slowly started incorporating homemade foods into their diets like bread, animal cookies, cheez itās, and a few other things. I have noticed a change from it!

@Anonymous914 Yes every kid is different he move a lot is normal around this age they want to explore so much and learn ah I see I sleep with my girl because she have eczema and scratch all night and he still little definitely keeping him next to you is the best is hard to limit the screen time because they know and want to watch cartoons thatās why I soon I take it away I have to do some activities with them to keep the mind off of it thatās really good I hear that diet is good also plant based and organic food I m going to put my toddler in plant based because of the eczema issue

@Monii I have read that does help with eczema. I know that must be really hard for her especially since the need to itch is so hard to resist at that age. My daughter has sensitive skin and can only use certain products. She also is a mosquito magnet which she is allergic to their salvia or whatever comes off of them when they bite you. She ends up with whelps all over her body. For your little girl, have you tried milk baths?

I would do whole milk from the store or if you still have breast milk or can get some you can do that as well. My friend would use it for her kids but I was never able to do it.

Hi everyone, this is giving me so much anxiety even saying this out loud because my OcD is telling me that somehow someone will know who I am on here and report me this goes with what Iām about to say about my irrational stuff. Since my baby was born Iāve had a lot of majorrr anxiety about him getting sick. From there my postpartum ocd spiked. I had this irrational fear someone would falsely report me as a bad mom and Iād get my baby taken from me. Iāve NEVER had anyone tell me Iām a bad mom, as a matter of fact, almost every day I get praised for how good of a mom I am. My child is so loved and taken care of. So why did I have that fear? it CONSUMED ME. Obsessively cleaning my house in case a social worker came. Stopped posting myself having occasional girls nights out for dinner because I thought one of my followers would think Iām a bad mom for getting a break. Not being able to talk about ANYTHING or send pictures of my baby to family and friends to update them since we live out of state because somehow I thought I would say something wrong or do something that would make someone think Iām a bad mom. I was convinced my baby was gonna be taken for zero reason. I still sometimes catch myself over analyzing myself and what I say because I donāt want to say the wrong thing and someone think Iām not a fit mom. I would even replay every scenario I remember and then second guess myself if that really happened or if I said something or not and freak out and spiral from there. with driving, if I go over a speed bump I have to double check it wasnāt magically a person. Then I panic even though I know for a fact it was a speed bump. I hate living like this. I feel crazy. I donāt open up because I feel like Iām the only person in the world. The one time I opened up about driving it was used against me. I feel like Iām drowning and Iām failing as a mom. I donāt even open up to a therapist about my irrational fear about baby being taken bc I donāt want them to think Iām a bad mom. It just doesnāt stop.

I just wanted to ask any mothers their experience with having children & the positive experiences theyāve had despite their diagnosis (even the small moments of joy)? I have always yearned to have children & grow a family however recently OCD has made me question this desire (though when Iām back to thinking rationally my heart knows Iām meant for motherhood). though Iām not oblivious to how difficult it must be, I thought it would be nice to see the good amongst the bad, not just for me but for anyone else feeling a similar way š«¶š¼
