Happy but not

OCD and fear is robbing me of the most happy moments of my life. My husband and I just bought our first house, an event that should be one of the happiest of our lives. However, I am miserable. All I can think about is that one of the walls of my daughters bedroom is shared with the kitchen and the refrigerator. Since my obsession right now is radiation, my mind is convinced that I’m harming her by exposing her to the radiation coming from that wall into her room. I would sell this house if I could even if my husband divorced me. That’s how bad my anxiety is and my need to bring my child to safety. Everyone just tells me how crazy I am and how nobody would even consider my concern a real one. But this is driving me insane. I’m starting to believe that I’m just addicted to this anxiety feeling because there is always something that I worry/obsess about no matter what. Im just exhausted.

I just got my own kitten today and am having a lot of ocd and anxiety about it 😞. I grew up with dogs and a cat my entire life in my family home and never had a problem. Although since moving into my own place I’ve never had one of my own specifically. I got my kitten today (I love my family pets and always wanted my own) but I’m soooo anxious. My ocd is terrible!’ Im worrying what if it was the wrong choice, what if something goes wrong , he ruins something, chews chords and causes a fire, changes my feeling of control over my living space, contamination fears , etc. whyyyyyyy do I feel this what do I do

I’m a young adult, second year in college and I rented my first apartment this year. I’m moving in exactly 1 week, and god this whole process is beyond stressful. I’m excited to live separate of my parents and have my own place, but can’t stop stressing about the “what ifs”. What if my neighbors suck, what if my landlord sucks, what if me and my roommate don’t get along, what if I can’t function on my own, what if I mess up my rent, what if I develop debt, all the what ifs of adulting are weighing me down. I should be excited right now, I should be hopeful for the future but ocd once again ruins everything for me. I wish I could appreciate this new start instead of worrying so much about it. Anyone else go through something like this?
