I am straight but i had a dream about kissing a dude, i have been recovering for a while and i know im almost there, but i didn’t necessarily feel anything when dreaming about it. It was basically a dream being created by an intrusive thought i been having. It took me a hot minute to come to the conclusion that i was kissing a dude and it is unusual, so i was in that dream for a second. Im not too bothered by it, but id like some advice and opinions, thanks :)

Treat dreams like an obsession - with response prevention- changing your reaction to the dream ‘cool, a dream, moving on’. You could have a dream about kissing a dinosaur - doesn’t mean it’ll happen or you’ll like it. The difference is the fear behind the dream of kissing a dude - work with the fear

This is the first time ever i have had a same sex dream i mean i had tried fantasizing about same sex relationship just to check myself in the past but i don't think i ever had same sex dreams BUT the weird thing is after i woke up and tried remembering the dream, I liked the dream. I just liked it.. I don't know if i liked myself in that relationship and would want to experience myself in such relationship or just because the story was kind of sweet. And the fact that i liked is giving me a headache and i cannot stop thinking about it

Hey I really need someone to help me so please reply if you can. But basically I'm still getting LOADS of intrusive thoughts about this theme, but the thing is I have zero distress about it. The idea still bothers me and i still realise i don't want to be with a girl, but even imagining scenarios does not bother me at all anymore. Like i realise it is not that bad so i don't need to be disgusted by it but the fact that I'm not disgusted by it anymore makes me feel like i want it or something. I just want to be with a man.

Dreams

Do any of you deal with OCD showing up in your dreams? Just had a dream where I fell for this beautiful girl and I felt so happy and then her face turned into a masculine face and realized it was a man after. In the dream, I even started questioning what if thoughts and scared why this happened. Now, I can’t shake off why the woman’s face I saw turned into a mans and why for a split second I was still thinking it was a woman’s face. I just feel sick and exhausted that I keep having this theme running around my mind. I don’t want to be gay ever and all these thoughts and now dreams make me feel ill
