Any of you ever accidentally say a a word mispronounced that sounds like a deity if another religion or the d*vil and then you worry if that means you worshipped another deity against your religion. Which wasnt my intent but if i mispronounce ir accidentally say the word i freak out
Yes it happens to me and than my mood is ruined bcs i feel horrible and that god will punish me š idk what is ur religion but personnaly what i tell myself is that god know that its just a mistake and that in my heart i only believe in him he is the most merciful he will never be this hard with me it was just a mistake maybe u should try this i hope u will feel better abt it see it as it is a mistake and this mistake does not define u or what u believe
Hi! Catholic here. Yes, I had the same thing! I see from the comments here, that you are Muslim! Thatās great! Majority of my friends are Muslim, so this is what they told me, and I am telling you. From what I can read, you are a strong believer. You have strong faith, I believe God knows this, and will forgive you. Even if you accidentally say the devils name, I believe he will forgive you. In my religion, His love is unconditional. I believe Allah/God loves you, and will forgive you if you accidentally say the devils name. I hope this helps!
@lvg Thank you Ivg. Yes Allah (God) is all merciful all forgiving. Thank you for reminding me. Ocd tends to make us personalize the worst of our thoughts and clouds our brains

@Sofi.a Assalaamu alaikum. When we perform wudhu we wash our hands three times and with ocd i often repeat the steps and doubt i did it properly. And when i repeat this 3 times i get anxious thoughts that total it makes an evil number and i worry. On the third time i had this thought and stopped. But then felt i didnt complete proper protocol. I know im not trying to do anything evil. I repeat steps because of ocd. Its so frustrating. InshaAllah I will overcome this. Be forgiven. And be able manage this ocd to be able to better concentrate when worshipping
@Anonynmous19 I am sure u will overcome this remember that what is important and that u will be asked about ur intentions even if u feel that its evil or wrong its not ur intentions to do evil thing than u wont be punished dont worry
Anytime i see the word devil or name i freak out. And when I say Gods name to remember him and to not be afraid my ocd freaks out as worries am i associating the two above. But i know im not. I only worship Allah. My ocd really attacks my faith
When I pray, sometimes I get certain thoughts that either curse God out of the blue or just have gross thoughts that arenāt my own. According to my religion, cursing God and meaning it is an unforgivable sin , and I am scared that I will go to hell which is my absolute worst fear. Iāve talked to my boyfriend about it and he says itās not how I truly feel, but I feel so scared when it happens often when I canāt help it. I donāt know how to stop this since the more I think about it the worse the thoughts get.
hi ya'll so yesterday I decided to read my bible in the morning before work, "which i never do"! I opened up to Matthew 12: 22. it talk about blasphemy against the holy spirit! man all of a sudden in my head I heard f-god! and were off to the races!! I went down a shame rabbit hole that is still bothering me! thoughts that I'm going to hell that god is angry with me! so I jumped on you tube to get some relief! I found all kinds of videos on this and did help but I'm hard headed and still feel some anxiety around this! can anyone relate? i know god love me and that this is ocd/the devil but still hurts a bit...
Lately Ive been having blasphemous intrusive thoughts I wonder if God knows about my OCD and that I would never willingly think these things I'm constantly asking for forgiveness and sometimes I feel like I go searching for these thoughts just to have something to obsess over Uuuuugh!!
