I deal with similar thoughts. I've been trying to focus more on the PROCESS and enjoying the process of doing something, instead of the finished result. For example -- making dinner. I hate making a mess, and will get distracted cleaning up the mess and ruin my meal. Now, I try to slow down and enjoy the entire process of it, spills and all! I can get to the mess later, as an after-dinner task. But making a mess is a part of the process to make dinner! Also, I'm trying to be more okay with NOT fixing the thing. If folded clothes aren't folded "right", I would re-fold. Now, I put them away as is, and sit in the discomfort knowing it's not perfect. The more I do it, the less it's bothering me!

hey there, i totally get where you're coming from. the pressure to do things "perfectly" can be really overwhelming, and that urge to start over when things aren't just right can be exhausting. you're definitely not alone in feeling this way. 🌟 by the way, have you heard about this new AI-powered OCD therapy tool called "unstuck?" when i was struggling with similar feelings, my NOCD therapist recommended this free AI OCD therapy tool called "unstuck" (unstuckmyOCD.com/try) and it was a game-changer for me. i think it'll be especially helpful for you because it provides personalized step-by-step support when OCD gets difficult, just like an OCD therapist, helping you to manage that need for perfection in a healthier way. i hate when people promote stuff, but i really think it can help you because it's changed my life. lmk if you have Qs or just want to talk more! <3

I do have something like that. I do get a bit angry when lines from videos I make aren’t said in a certain way for me to feel a certain way. I don’t ever feel satisfied due to that.
