@suspectedocd3!!R - Itās like it makes me feel like I want to be in bed with her and would be happy with it. Because weāre close friends and sheās into girls. Weāre so similar and on the same wavelength so it feels like Iād be comfortable in bed with her and that I want her in bed when I donāt. And it feels like Iāve never felt that towards guys, just romantic so I get scared that I want women sexually and romantically. Itās just this inescapable thought that she is āthe oneā and now I feel uncomfortable with men which kills lol.

Yes. It feels very real, but then it latches onto another person and suddenly the previous obsession is like totally gone and does not scare one bit anymore. This is so peculiar of ocd and is proof of it being ocd. But of course when it's almost 24/7 and really bad it's excruciatingly painful and very hard to ignore and treat as symptom as it should be.

100 percent. Usually people I didn't know before this all started. Or people I kind of knew for 2 years and then one day completely triggered by them. Hope that helps. I know we aren't supposed to reassure, but it is nice to not feel so alone.
