You don't actually 'like' those things/thoughts or you wouldn't care enough to make this post to reach out for help. I have had the same feelings before...like my face was smiling (an intrusive urge or feeling, just as intrusive as the thoughts). It's just the intrusive element to ocd. I've also had weird happy urges to bothersome thoughts or ideas or images. Then felt bad about those happy urges and spiraled into finding explanations and questioning myself (doubt element of ocd) if I'm a good person or if I really do care about the thing or person or whatever I'm think i should care about. Then come the compulsions to ruminate, seek reassurance, google, research, repeat words or phrases to myself, or whatever, etc. The fact we go into this spiral or are uncomfortable with what is going on inside us is proof we DO care, we DO NOT want to feel or think this way, etc. OCD is very cunning and can be subtle, and can produce any kind of intrusive urge, feeling, sensation, once we

accidentally hit post....once we realize how the OCD monster plays its game, we become non-players in its game ...and that's how we win. Don't play... ocd wants you to play by it's rules. Refuse the compulsion. Refuse to join in. Refuse to engage with it.
