I’m getting really distressed and confused about this. It feels like I’m getting sexually attracted to child-like actions or vulnerable things. Sort of like cuteness aggression but sexually. Even though it’s bringing me anxiety and discomfort it just feels initially so much like actual sexual attraction. Does anyone have any ideas?
All I can say is I’m getting the same thing
@Fullmoon20 Really? That’s a bit of a relief I genuinely thought I was the only person with this issue. It’s getting bad, it feels like genuine attraction to child like actions especially when it’s in animation or something like that and it freaks the hell out of me

@intrusivethoughtmagnet Oh wow ok I’ve had mine for almost 5yrs now and the reason why I asked was because when you first get POCD well from my experience anyways it feels like your world is crashing down on you but when you get to my point it doesn’t feel like OCD anymore and more like your the real thing and your just in denial.
@Fullmoon20 So do you just constantly feel like a pedo in denial? Cause that’s how I feel sometimes. It feels like there’s so much evidence disproving that this is OCD
@intrusivethoughtmagnet So yeah, I do feel like that because when I first discovered that I have POCD I was so afraid and ashamed and guilty and fearful that I do something horrendous to a minor and I still feel all those things today but it’s different it’s not the same it’s not as intense. It just feels like I’m crying or feel guilt and shame because it’s true and I feel bad
@intrusivethoughtmagnet And the way that the POCD developed was one day. I was watching a video on YouTube a documentary about children or a child thinking that he was a predator in the next morning I woke up and my head was filled with thoughts like would I do that?
@Fullmoon20 I had HOCD before this so I guess I kinda skipped the whole first part and went straight into existential crisis and background check
@intrusivethoughtmagnet Before this I had a lot of different sub types of OCD and I for sure have OCD I know that but I’ve been able to make those subtypes kinda go away and they do come back but I’ve never really been able to make HOCD go away and POCD go away.
@Fullmoon20 That’s because they are the ones that really attack your character. Something you have been so content with your whole life has now turned on you and you don’t know what to do. I sincerely do hope I get better and that I’m not a pedo tho

OCD is tricky. I have struggled with POCD to the point where my body will give me uncontrollable physical sensations that I don’t want. You have to remember OCD tries to use your own mind and sensations against you. If you’ve struggled with POCD before your OCD is likely trying to find a new route to causing you distress by attempting to convince you that you are attracted to child-like actions and therefore a creep, which is not true. I always like to remember, CREEPS DONT CARE ABOUT IF THEYRE CREEPY. Pedos do not give a shit about morality. Hope this helped a little. Wishing you the best!

I keep getting thoughts of this 6 year old kid n I don’t know what to do, they keep coming and they give me a sense of attraction, I don’t wanna be attracted to kids, it feels too real as well, I feel a need to check if I was attracted or not constantly, and it genuinely feels like attraction, please help me I don’t wanna be a pedo. Whenever I try to think abt something romantic or about someone my age I’m actually into, that kid keeps popping up.

Involves sexual content I have learning disabilities which means im always going to be 3-5 years mentally behind from my actual age… when I was 14 I remember finding people saying they work with kids “attractive” and I remember mastu*** over a kid around 5+ but when I was 14 I was either mentally age 11 or 9. So I didn’t know it was wrong, and as soon as I realised I stopped. People say I was young and it’s okay but I remember finding people saying they even walked past a nursery “attractive” but I don’t know if this is even the right word. Maybe cute? Because I find different emotions hard to tell the difference between, so maybe it’s cute rather than attractive. I never ever had intentions to do anything to younger individuals, it was just me finding people saying they worked with them etc attractive… which my ocd now plays on, because my friend mentioned they were working with kids but idk if it was the real me or not but I genuinely felt like I found it attractive and it was giving my so many groinal responses which then made me feel genuinely aroused like I wanted to do things. This plays on my mind because my ocd will always say “but you did/do find stuff like this attractive” but this literally stops me from eating, sleeping or anything. I can’t break from my compultions because what if I do genuinely find it attractive. I don’t think it’s even attractive maybe it’s cute? Like I find it cute… but cuteness can give people feelings down there I guess. I think because if my learning disabilities I found it hard to know the difference between “attraction” and cute so I did stuff over it because it gave me that feeling down there but that could of been cuteness feeling. I just need some support on this.
