I found a paper about HOCD in 2008

The green parts are parts I definetly fit into, the yellow part are ambiguos in a way (Not that I ever fall in love with a man, but it feels like I could, and in the case of women lately I been feeling that I liked them in the past but never actually developed a crush like in the anime roncoms I watched (I know that's dumb but at the same time it isnt) and also about the other I do feel like I care what other thinks, like not my biggest concerns but I did have though about it a considerable amount of times)

Hey hello again! Let me say one thing here that might change your perspective. Nobody fits the category entirely. What I mean by this is that everyone develops their ocd differently and if you don't fit in one category does not mean that you are not OCD. Also romance in real life is not like anime I was like this too and I was very disappointed when I actually figured this out because I had lost my first girlfriend because I thought romance was like an anime

Okay just one more question, do you think it's less OCD if the only obssesions I ever had were about sex related themes?

@Nicola$ No it's not less OCD people can focus on a theme for a long time. Mine was simmetry when I was a teen then became sexual and it keeps oscillating between sexual and harm but it's mostly sexual. It doesn't have to fluctuate to be OCD

@Viny I hope so cause I did had several intrusive thoughs of other themes (Except harm, I think I could never developed harm OCD lol) but my point is that I had thoughs of pedophilia, and thoughs of me dying, and me going to jail, but none of those was strong enough for me to develop a full obssesion

@Nicola$ I also did have something similar. Especially with me dying lol they come and go too. not wanting to scare you but you can develop this at anytime without warning really it's not logical in a sense you can predict just be prepared if they happen not to be too surprised by it. It's going to be alright

funnily enough, I don't call mine SO-OCD just Sexual OCD because I don't really have a doubt of being "gay" all the time I know I'm straight. But when I am in crisis I do have these thoughts of "oh you did x? Then you are gay!" and they give me rampant anxiety and disgust and during the crisis itself is when I start going mental on the thoughts. Sometimes I have the thought "Did I do X? Did I look y? Did my walk pattern means I'm gay?" I also have these thoughts of "Does my friend want to have sex with me?" I can also remember a time where I was in a concert and I saw a girl and my brain went "oh she's cute too bad I will become gay" and I had so much anxiety... now in retrospect... yeah this is SOOCD lol

@Viny Same. When my bf gets jealous of a str8 male, my mind goes "i'm gay you should be worried if it was a girl".
