hard time forgiving myself

@nae nae Thank you for your comment. I feel as though people do see that I am reassurance seeking, and I am sorry for that. It is super hard to go on especially about this stuff specifically without reassurance. I am trying to forgive myself, but I feel as though I am unforgivable and morally failed me and my pets. I understand the compulsion was not good, and inappropriate and distressing. Distressing to me and my mental health, of course inappropriate in a way where my pets should not be brought into compulsions or OCD loops like that. But that being said, I still feel like I morally failed me and my pets and that I am a bad person.

@dee012 You don't need to apologize. People understand and recognize that. The bottom line is that you deserve forgiveness. If you were a bad person with bad intentions, you wouldn't be worrying about it this much.

@nae nae Thank you. I guess cause the compulsions already happened a couple of times, I feel as though I did something unforgivable. And that’s with me taking out intentions and OCD. I really want to talk to my family member about this as they are somewhat a support system for me. But they are also a cat lover, I don’t know how they will react to this information.

@nae nae Sorry about it being misleading. I was explaining how I feel as though I am unforgivable and bad, and I tend to know people think everyone deserves forgiveness. So I included actions and things bad people do that are terrible and extreme, and absolutely unforgivable, which was basically me saying that I am scared I fall under that level of extremeness, and that I do not deserve to be forgiven. Hopefully that makes sense. Just scared that what I wrote about and the compulsions that included my pets in an inappropriate way falls under the category of extreme things that should not be forgiven.

@dee012 No, I understand! I don't know if misleading was the right word to use. It was just easy to misunderstand if glancing over it. But, I did understand what you meant! Thank you for clarifying, though! :)
