I remember hearing a quote that “you have not yet met everyone who will love you and who you will love.” I have found it to be helpful to remember especially when I’ve lost friends or felt like they left me. For now I hope you are able to take care of yourself and know that there will be people in the future who will love you (and I bet there’s people who love you now too) even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

Many people with OCD wish they didn’t have it, myself included. My life would be so much simpler if I didn’t have ocd and didn’t worry about stuff that most other people never worry about but that’s just not the case. In reality we do have ocd and need at accept that and see that even though we do have ocd we can learn tools to manage it like doing ERP and can still lead happy, joyful, functioning lives even though sometimes it doesn’t feel that way when ocd is latched

Sometimes it’s good to vent, to get it all out. No one likes dealing with OCD you are definitely not alone there. Try not to stay in that mindset too long. Reach out for help. Find resources to deal with OCD. Put it in perspective it is dealing with thoughts and feelings you don’t like. It’s like the wizard of Oz , pull back the curtain and see the little guy that wants to scare you. Everyone here cares, don’t give up and don’t give your power to OCD. It’s a brain false alarm

@Anonymous Please start by trying your best to love yourself, right where you are. Work on caring for yourself. Sometimes love comes from others when you are not looking for it. Either way you always have yourself and I don’t know how you feel about God but you can always reach out to him.
