Help I'm going to hell

Hi! Sorry your going through some challenges, it sounds like your OCD is spiraling and your fear proves your firm belief. Though I am not Christian I am Muslim and we do have some similarities but I could be wrong, don't know if this will help or not, I really think and believe that if you truly regretted something, you will be forgiven. You did not do it on purpose, in Islam we would say that God is all merciful and kind, he would not created us if he knew we would not sin, he created humans to ask for forgiveness not to be perfect. Though idk if this would be similar to your religion but I'm trying to be helpful 😭 you are not alone! We are with you, take a few deep breaths and look at the positives, do what you can and let it go. Though there might be someone who can answer this better than me so I do apologize but I don't want to you leave you while your stressed. I can tell you have a heart of gold.

something that’s helped me: you can never accidentally commit the unforgivable sin. you have to intentionally reject the Holy Spirit your entire life.

Hey I’m Junior . Wanted to encourage you although there has been responses to your post already . In 2020 , I came across that verse about the unpardonable sin. I was so scared . Never knew that there was a sin that couldn’t be forgiven . I ruminated on “what if” thoughts for weeks . Fast forward , I was doing a 21-day fasting and prayer. As I was reading the Bible , there was a bad thought about Jesus that came to my mind . I for sure thought that I’ve committed the unpardonable sin . I went weeks crying , calling every prayer line , going to every church service and every later call , I couldn’t sleep , couldn’t eat and I was extremely distraught . I had put all into serving God and I believed I was now doomed .. Well here I am , 5 yrs later and much better . Do I still have the thoughts , yes , but it doesn’t have power over me anymore. I’ve realized that God knows my heart and intent . He knew that struggled with ocd and if you told me not to think of the color blue else some to Ong bad would happen , I’d repeat blue in my head non-stop . This isn’t about me per se , however an example to show you that you aren’t alone . God knows your heart . The Pharisees didn’t worry themselves when they committed the unpardonable sin because their hearts were hardened and the wanted to reject the work of the Holy Spirit . You and I don’t ! You are safe and God loves you . He died for you . Rest in that peace . Satan is trying to ruin your walk with God and send you down a loop of misery like he did with me . Don’t let it happen . I assure you that you DID NOT commit that sin . Get up and worship God because He loves you . Give Him every tear and every fear and watch Him turn it around for your good . The enemy is a liar and the victory belongs to Jesus !! Be encouraged !!

I'm assuming you think you have done this because of some intrusive thought? That wouldn't be committing the sin. We can't stop thoughts from coming into our head. It's out of our control. Second, another piece of advice for scrupulosity, the only thing that got me out of the fear of hell, was accepting I may end up in hell. It's out of my control. I don't fear that I'm going to hell anymore. I don't think I am. But did it take a long time of accepting I may go there? Yes.

You're not alone currently going through this i had the thought repeatedly as I woke up in the middle of the night I tried thinking of other things but it seemed uncontrollable. I think there was a reason I saw this post.
