Ukrainians are getting tortured en-masse in Russia… Palestinians are dying every minute… I am far away from their suffering, yet I am crushed psychologically by the scenery. Working as a journalist, I’ve seen the images, videos… What is the point of living in this nightmare world? I see no good in people, all I see are parasites… It is as if someone drained away all my happiness… If there is a God I hope he is ashamed.
I get exactly what you mean! ❤️🩹 It’s truly horrible what goes on in this world. If it helps, there a loads of people on this app everyday giving advice and trying to help others during their suffering. There’s also people far away who are donating and doing what they can to help Palestine and the Ukraine. I hope this can show you there’s at least a small light of goodness in this world 🙏 There are terrible people out there and so much suffering, but also beautiful nature, beautiful people, happiness and love- the duality of man
Thinking of this right now and it’s a feeling I’ve had these past couple months. The world (people) can be horrible. But don’t lose hope. There are people everywhere who keep fighting for them and we will make sure the world does not forget what’s happening. Even sharing their pain is something, more than many who keep turning their heads are doing. The world right now may seem a horrible place, but there are still beautiful things around us, believe me.
Things are terrible right now but it's how, unfortunately, things have always been. There's a lot of good people too, people who want the world to be a better place. I do believe that we humans are making progress as a whole. We just have to accept how things are at the moment and keep hope for the future
I can feel that too. Every time I hear news about someone getting killed or injured I just lose my mind, and lose all the hope I have for humanity
TW: suicidal Constantly fixated on the fact of helping people. I’m always doing compulsions like checking social medias to see if people need help etc, it’s exhausting cause I’m so sad I’m unable to help everyone. I just don’t know what to do and if I’m being entirely honest it’s making me not wanna be here anymore. I’m afraid that if i walk away from my phone for even 5 minutes someone will be in need and in danger and I want be there to help therefore it’s my fault etc. how can i cope with this? Obviously I want to help people but I wanna do it in different ways
On my tumblr I keep getting messaged by a lot of people from Gaza who made accounts to get donations to evacuate (they have been verified and such) i donate what i can and share their posts,but don't typically reply to their messages. A few people started messaging again thinking i was ignoring. So I felt bad and told that I donated and shared. There was some confronted bc one of them I sent a donation several days ago but didn't reply.to their message until later and they got confused and thought I didn't donate. I feel really bad and anxious abt it even if I know I did do it and am trying to do the right thing,the fear i might convince a family stuck in a war zone i am lying to them about such a thing terrifies me
I've found myself writhing on the ground from intrusive thoughts of my past. I have bruises all over from me hitting myself. Every waking moment is a nightmare, I can't do anything. Can't let people be mean. But standing up for myself turns into cruelty. Cruelty turns into a loathing, and then I fear that everyone hates me. I wish I could die, and live again. I don't want to lose my life, but I can't live like this.
