Now I don't have pocd, but usually the distinction I like to tell people is that a real pedo would not care. A bad person wouldn't worry if they are a bad person. At all. If you're already wondering if you're a moral, good person, knowing you have POCD, you're dealing with the POCD in that moment and it's good to remember your coping skills and therapy skills. Good people care about being good, bad people don't care if they are immoral. Have a lovely day and please please be kind to yourself!! ♡

And I think this also counts at reassurance seeking, your ocd is tricking your brain into thinking there is a real threat when there is none.
