So confused

I'm struggling with the thought that my boyfriend cheated on me in the past because a situation. I've asked him many times and he always tells me that nothing happened, but the last time I asked him, he told me to think what I want this time, but also to think if I can be with him after all that, and that if the answer is no, then we shouldn't be together because he's already tired of me always thinking he cheated on me. Now I'm confused because I don't understand why he told me to think about if he cheated on me and if I can be with him despite that. I feel like his reaction means that he was unfaithful. I don't know what to think. Is his reaction suspicious? Or normal because I’ve asked so Many times

It does seem suspicious. Weird way to avoid answering a yes or no question. He should be trying to gain your trust back after cheating on you in the past. Even if he didn’t cheat this time, I don’t like how he’s messing with your ocd by answering so weirdly.

@One_moment_at_a_time Yes :( This is everything what he told me: "Honestly, I don't like this... and every now and then you're distrusting me... that's not good or healthy for either of us. I've explained it to you many times and told you the truth about that day... nothing happened. Not a thing, not even a friendly kiss. But this time, think what you want... but also think if you can be with me after all that... if the answer is no, then let's not be together anymore for the sake of your mental health. I have a clear conscience, but you make me feel guilty because of these thoughts about me that are causing you distress. You make me feel guilty because I'm the protagonist of these thoughts, not because of what you think, which are pure lies. If the solution to this is for me to step away, I'll do it... but I don't want to feel guilty."

@Gabbi_29 Ah. That’s a lot less suspicious. I don’t think he cheated on you again. I think he just dislikes you constantly asking him if he’s cheating. Does he think he’s done enough to earn your trust back? If he hasn’t, then I feel like he’s gaslighting you. Because he’s the one who cheated…he is guilty. It’s his job to earn your trust back. I believe he told you to think he’s cheated again because if you still love him enough to continue to date him even if he’s cheated again then you shouldn’t worry about if he will/wont cheat again because either way you’ll still want to be with him. And if you stop worrying, that should help your OCD calm down. But that first cheating experience must have really made you lose a lot of trust in him. Do you think you could ever trust him again? If you can’t trust him, then honestly I don’t think he’s the right guy for you. Trust is so important in a healthy long lasting relationship and I want you to have that.

@One_moment_at_a_time Oh I see. I think I didn’t explained myself well on the post, I don’t know if he cheated or not, but I constantly struggle with the thought that he cheated because one time I saw a text that he sent to a female coworker saying “Heey” after he went out to a nightclub with his coworkers including her, so I think he cheated on me at the nightclub with her and that’s why he sent her that text. But I always ask him if something happened and he says nothing happened. Sorry for bother you with my mess :( I’m just so confused

How to stop overthinking my boyfriend is cheating? He’s cheated before yes.. only once!! (not physically cheating BUT Cheating is cheating I get it)…. I’m still trying to heal and not be so insecure and self doubting myself like I did something wrong or that I’m not enough.. he hasn’t done it again since that day but I still overthink and still feel like I need to check through his social media accounts but I still have this fear but it’s like I know he’s not?? Idk if this makes sense I just need some friendly advice!! Please be respectful!! ❤️‍🩹 I want me and partner to move forward but I constantly keep thinking about it.. that was the one bad thing he’s did in our relationship..we’ve been together for almost two years

Advice on this situation 😭

I’m at a loss about what to do. I’ve been with my partner for about a year. I’ve wanted to be with him for 3 years and now I finally have him, I got out of a really toxic 11 year relationship about 4 years ago so I’ve had plenty of time to heal, things where going so great at first in our relationship and I’m still very much happy with him, I love him more than anything, but the past 5 6 months I’ve been having a constant fear that he’s gonna cheat or watch 🌽behind my back any chance he gets , I know that’s a touchy subject for some, but me personally it just makes me feel that I’m not attractive enough,or feel like I’m not good enough, I’ve never found evidence of cheating, and I’ve found 🌽 in his history once but I told him how I felt and he told me he understood how I felt and wouldn’t do it again,and I know the constant asking everyday and needing for reassurance with it is putting a tear in our relationship, I just want to fix it. Does anyone have any advice on how to redirect my brain whenever I start overthinking about it when I’m not around him? It just puts so much stress on me when I’m not around him cause I’m just constantly in my head about it.

I often feel like i did something wrong even tho i am positive i didn’t, my boyfriend and i have been together for like 6 months and i’ve been completely loyal to him the whole time but recently i’ve been feeling the need to confess that i cheated on him even tho i didn’t and there’s absolutely no proof that i did something even close, i don’t talk to other men and if i do my boyfriend has full access to my phone and it’s usually a friend or me asking a simple question but i still feel the need to confess even tho i’ve done nothing wrong🥲 someone please help it’s so confusingggg
