I do not think all of that is true, your core fear isn’t being scared to be gay, it’s being scared to lose your known identity. It makes sense that ocd would target such because you feel so confident in it. I understand to an extent that feeling of being told “you’re not old enough to know” or “I didn’t know for sure till I was older”. Those can do the opposite of helping. This is an anxiety like disorder not real exploration! I have struggled with this side of soocd + not to reassure you but what gay people don’t tell you is that, their thoughts are somewhat different + they usually always knew what they wanted

@Ms.shelovesfrogs - No,its like a girl that she thought she was straight and she was diagnosed with hocd, and she fears that she like women, and she figured out that it was real when she grow up,its very trigger to hear stories like that.

@Mimo116 She struggled with internalized homophobia alongside ocd+ I saw sumn video about a girl explaining she went to a strict catholic school and something but ocd alone doesn’t lead to self discovery

@Ms.shelovesfrogs - I hear stories like this, I remember that I grew up in a very homophobic environment, and I'm not going to lie to you, I adopted it from them, but at the beginning of the 14th, or the ends of the 13th, doubts and questions came out about my religion, and I was in an internal struggle between what my religion says and between the logic that tells me that homosexuality is nature, then i came out as an agnostic or an atheist because its like making this decision is a sense of Justice, comfort and support them, I discovered that the more time passed, the more I accept them and used to see them, but hocd hit me exactly with the beginning of this openness. For a whole year I have been struggling with this, at one period I tried to come out as a bisexual to my friend because I didn't know that I suffer from hocd and i thought that I'm just a denial, and it didn't help, it felt so uncomfortable and i didnt continue it,it didn't comfort me, it got worse and I didn't feel that my body was mine.So my hocd keeps telling me that I refuse because I am socially influenced even though the thing I hate the most is my country. He goes on to say that I got hocd because I accepted homosexuality and that it meant something was "buried."
