@Casablanca Sorry my first reply was so short. I just think that this is all hyper responsibility OCD, you are not the one responsible for if it is still up on reddit, and you asking that is feeding your OCD. Take the OCD away and you know what you believe.

I think you're having responsibility OCD about if you're seeing actual adult content in adult spaces. It's natural with OCD to worry and think "Before I engage with this NSFW content on this 18+ site/subreddit, I need to get all the information I can to make sure that it's okay and they're not lying because if they do turn out to be lying, then I should have known better." That thought is irrational. The best thing you can do is accept uncertainty. If you're doing your part by going to subreddits where you NEED to be 18+ to post, then you're fine. It's not your responsibility if someone else lies. Take deep breathes :)

@Casablanca - AWWE! Of course! I've had something similiar! People with OCD just really are scared of causing harm and try to find control in things we don't have control over :) You're not alone<3
