@unkindledhishiron I’ll try to, I’m trying my best to say “maybe it was because of the intrusive thought maybe it wasn’t” but the thought of it actually being because of that is making me wanna scream and cry😔

@Fcukocd Definitely! It’s one of the things I always look out for and still check occasionally. But right now, the nausea and throat things are my worst enemies

@unkindledhishiron How do you deal with it when it actually happens?? I hate it so so much

@Fcukocd Well mainly I panic especially when that first started last year. Like I’d literally check it even in the bus to see if I did (see how bad it was). Nowadays, I still do panic and at times I engage in compulsions. But I try to confide in my girlfriend or I do deep breathing and grounding techniques

@unkindledhishiron Yeah I’m exactly the same, instant panic mode whenever it happens, I just hope that I can fix things with my baby mum and start to be able to confide in her when it happens although she gets tired of hearing it sometimes

@Fcukocd That’s what happened between me and my gf too, it takes a lot of effort and communication to reach a level of mutual understanding. Do you still have the throat tightness thing?

@Fcukocd Not really penile retraction but rather it takes longer for me to be erect compared to before. But hey, every experience is different.

@unkindledhishiron Okay, I experienced it earlier, I was thinking about things I find arousing and was somewhat experiencing arousal, but then I started feeling anxious and it just started doing that

@Fcukocd Yeah stress could do a lot of things to our bodies. Do you still have the throat tightness thing and nausea? It’s being a very big pain for me every single day, I got over it before but it always comes back

@unkindledhishiron Also have you ever experienced false attraction to the male anatomy? I’ve been having that too and it’s fucking horrible, kept getting the right throat thing again as well

@unkindledhishiron Yeah I still have it, this morning as soon as I thought about my intrusive thoughts I felt the throat tightening thing and started excessively swallowing air

@Fcukocd my throat tightens whenever i’m not doing anything or when i’m doing anything. it’s like the more i focus on it, the more it tightens. And it gets more prominent when im near family, other people and even my gf. do you also get thoughts like “what if i’m lying? what if i’m using ocd as an excuse? what if i acted a particular way and other people might see me differently than what i know? what if im in denial?” do you have these thoughts too? really need your help too bro. its driving me crazy

@unkindledhishiron Yeah I get the exact same thing, it’s horrible, the doubt is genuinely overwhelming sometimes, it’s genuinely a killer, my throat more tightens when I get sexual intrusive thoughts, as soon as I get them I get tightness in my throat which leads to excessive swallowing and it’s horrible

@unkindledhishiron Yes quite a lot, I think it’s because of the obsessive doubt, which is annoying as fuck because no matter what I think of, the anxiety is right there with me, I got no sleep last night because my heart was pounding out of my chest and I got a groinal response which just sparked the obsession again

@Fcukocd bro same. like its sucks. as i was heading out to eat earlier a thought popped up and i was going crazy, i kept repeating my phrases to make it go away

@unkindledhishiron Yeah it’s horrible man, do you also get unwanted mouth watering when you get intrusive thoughts sometimes if you’re focusing on it too much?

@unkindledhishiron Okay man, well at least we both know we’re not alone in what we’re experiencing, just both got OCD to the point of it ruling over everything, just gotta try remember what we value and take the OCD for what it is even though it’s so fucking difficult

@Fcukocd it sucks cause before when this started, my feelings and love feels strong (it still is) and i was confident in who i was. but now ocd distorts that and made me incapacitated

@unkindledhishiron Yeah I’m the same, I use to be confident but now it’s just shattered, I can still feel love for my Babymum but as u said ocd just distorts it

@unkindledhishiron Yeah man, when I’m with my baby mum I don’t usually have a problem, but then as soon as I’m alone, can’t get it up, and only get reactions to things that i don’t want them to

@unkindledhishiron Have you ever had the thing where you compulsively thought about intrusive thoughts to get rid of morning glory only to find it stayed and only went away when you thought of the things you’re actually attracted to? I’ve had that and it’s throwing me off I know that it’s just more than likely the thinking of what I like reduced the anxiety or performance anxiety/pressure and that’s what made it go away because I focused on something else but fuck man it’s making me ruminate

@unkindledhishiron I dont think so as far as I can remember bro, but don’t ruminate on it, it’s an anxiety thing, probably the doubt of SOOCD is what causes that, because intense doubt from ocd will do anything and everything it can do to make you scared
