100% even groups like this don't always feel like a safe space. We feel so much shame and guilt and totally expect others would see us that way, the way we see oitselves an that others will fear in us what we fear ourselves

Exactly and it sucks since we already view ourselves as horrible people even though were not due to our ocd always making us feel like we did something we didnt do or making us feel guilty and disgusted with ourselves. And the sad part is whenever we speak out about it or want help with our intrusive thoughts nobody even cares to help us on the forum because of the stigma

Same to you, we can be here for each other. I admit (and this is going to sound cruel because I know OCD is OCD and its horrible for everyone).. But sometimes I feel frustrated and even envious of people who post like 'my OCD makes me thing that maybe my partner isnt the right person for me' or 'my OCD makes me worry about my carb intake'. And I'm like.. My OCD makes me believe I'm the worse and most vile evil thing anyone could possibly be, I feel disgusted at my thoughts I would rather be dead than be that and every day is like torture analyisinh every thought and bodily function and believing I could have or might hurt a child... It makes me not want to share because how could people possibly understand

I know exactly what you mean by that sometimes I do the same and I envy others who have contamination ocd or I see others post about oh I’m scared I might not love my partner and I go well damn must be nice to have that type of ocd because every day feels like a struggle to me due to my type of OCD and it sucks because your own family doesn’t even want to hear it your own family will alienate you when it comes to speaking about your ocd. Therefor, in your head you start to believe you can’t share your ocd with anyone because everyone will think you actually are what your ocd says you are or no one will understand

I dislike it so much and I feel your pain as well but us as a community should stick together and make a group where we can all talk about our pocd issues and what we go through everyday so we no longer feel alone so we don’t have to suffer alone in silence so we can overcome this

Pocd should not be stigmitazed, because of p* See I even am scared of writing this word I wish there were more people talking about it, or we creste a group on discord for people with pocd. Because right now I am having a pocd crisis and dont know what to do
