I’m trying to. I really am. It’s so hard and I just wish I could feel ok. I hate my brain it just won’t shut up.

@Mars Don't fight it, don't fight the thoughts, let them come like cars passing by, you know the truth, don't believe the lies.

@Stressed It’s something I’ve been struggling with all week to just ignore the thoughts like cars. I try to regress (it’s one of my coping mechanisms) and watch cartoons and play games but it’s so hard bc I feel like I don’t even deserve those things or any happiness or like any bits and pieces of my childhood I can get back and I hate it.

@Mars ERP says that we should write our worst scenarios down.Do that, and then read them many times a day until you get bored.I only wrote a ridiculous scenario my ocd tortured me with once and I got over it seeing how ridiculous it is.

@Stressed What if some of those scenarios feel more possible then not? What if they really could happen? Or even what if they deal with trauma? I guess that’s where a therapist would come in but I don’t start till next week and she isn’t even specialized in ocd...

@Mars Trust me,any scenario is better than ocd.Any bad situation can be coped with and you can deal with whatever life gives you.Anxiety is the worst of all.

@Stressed I guess that is true. I have to start getting the courage to write my Fears.

@Mars Start writing right now, start with a smaller fear.Write all the gruesome details, and how you feel about it.Write is like a story in present tense. For example,I am walking and suddenly I trip and fall.I break my leg and the paramedics arrive,I have fractured everything and the doctor says I have two hours to live.Write the absolute worst you can think about. And then your thoughts on that.
