Hey! I’ve been in that position where I’m just waiting for my next appointment while suffering hard. I try to stick to a routine that I enjoy. In my example, my favorite part of the day is after I’ve showered and put on my pajamas at night, I grab my phone/nintendo switch etc and go hang out with my brother in his room. I’ll do my own thing or watch him play something until we start our show. Looking forward to and doing that has helped a lot. Also a lot of deep breathing and being outside. You got this :)

Hi! I’ve been struggling a lot too. I keep thinking that I have a crush on my friend or that I’m bisexual and it just keeps going back and forth. I know that I am really straight. My advice would be to try and preoccupy yourself with other tasks. And another thing I remind myself is that I will never have to do anything with a girl. You never have to do anything you don’t want to do.

Mine tends to be that the feeling goes away and I realize I’m still attracted to men, but then I get too comfortable again and my thoughts come back about “but do I see myself with a woman even though I never did before?” And it makes me crazy. I love the advice though. Thank you! Hope your struggles stop soon :)

How do you combat the thoughts that say maybe you do want to? Like you know you don’t but the doubt it still there bothering you?

@Evelyn4416 That’s honestly what I’m struggling with. I was fine for like an hour and then went into a spiral of “oh my god I’m gay I need to come out to my mom right now” and then was like ok breathe, am I? And then was like “ok no I’m not???” And I’m back to “am I sure?” again. So I really don’t know how to combat them. I wish I had a better answer for you.

@crisco Haha no I completely get it! Definitely my struggle as well, one moment I feel on top of it and like yeah this is just OCD I got this! And the next minute I’m on a borderline meltdown thinking I need to be hospitalized or something. It’s suckssss

@Evelyn4416 Hi! I just remind myself that they are just thoughts and I never have to act on them. We can’t control what our brain thinks. Like for example right now I have coffee in front of me and in my head I thought “what if I just pushed it off the table” but obviously I’m not going to do that. Just because you think something doesn’t mean it’s true.
