You are so not alone! I am so sorry you are having a hard time if it helps i am also struggling. Also my mom had relationships after my father left when i was very young and i think all of that really plays a role in my ROCD as well. If face just reading this made me realize how much trama i may have developed around relationships because of what i saw her go through. So thank you! From what ive learnd is that attachment styles that you develope early on in life, any kind of trama which could be really significant, something you saw or , were exposed to, or it could even just be small things too. Basically your brain is trying to protect you its all the old beliefs you learned and carry with you. Anyways i hope this helps lol

Thank you so much for replying to my post, it really means a lot ?? I’m glad it could help you realize something! I agree with you and that helps a lot! I think our brains are trying to protect us too. I wish OCD wasn’t the way our brains tried to protect us though!! ?
