I can relate to a lot of this! Especially the fear of being a bad person. And I am also undiagnosed. Your fears are valid, remember that. Don’t think about other people having it worse, as that entirely belittles your own struggles. It manifests differently and uniquely in all of us! You are allowed to know you’re hurting. You care for this band, and OCD tends to pick on what we love most. I don’t think you’re overreacting :) From here, I think you must remember OCD will trick you in any way it can to do compulsions. This is just another uncertainty. So what are your compulsions?

Thank you so so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it??I don’t have any physical compulsions, I think my compulsions are avoiding thoughts/triggers, ruminating and analysing the thoughts

@daisy?? Same! Mostly reassurance for me as well as that. But it’s good you can identify some of your mental compulsions. Now the best thing to do is obviously cut them out, but I understand how hard that can be! So maybe start to step closer to your fears and consciously choose to NOT avoid things. I wish I knew what to say because truthfully I’m in the same boat as you. But it won’t be this way forever :)

@garden Thank you so so much, I’ve managed to not do any avoidance nor ruminating, I’ve been trying to let the thoughts come to me and accepting them but they feel so real it’s so hard??
